I know the name can be confusing. It’s confusing to me as well. But don’t let that detour you. Bigfoot grill is really no longer and the new owners from J & C barbecue do an absolute fabulous job of not just barbecue, but all food in general.
Everything is better there now. The burgers are off the hook, they do fabulous amazing homemade desserts like big city stuff in a small community, their chicken fried steak is second to none you will not find a better one around and they’re barbecue as everyone knows is absolutely the best.
These are Champion competition barbecue folks that take their food real seriously. If you haven’t tried them get in there and if you already know the food is good help support them. They are super nice people and very family orientated. They work their tails off to bring the community some of the best food in the Willamette valley.
The food is definitely creative with many sides you would not find at normal barbecue places. The pulled pork and brisket are the best I’ve had around here in the local barbecue scene. It really stands out ahead of the pack. It’s obvious they take a lot of pride in trimming their meats before cooking as well as all of their sides which create more work for the staff.
I was also shocked at the pricing of their beef brisket at $24 per pound. Most BBQ places are selling it for $30 per pound and up because of the cost increases in briskets. That tells me they’re not trying to price gouge the local community and they are loyal to their customers.

This place is legit. I’m from a big city and like to think I know good burgers, and Bigfoot had some of the best burgers I’ve ever had. They’re also HUGE and give you tons of fries. Also, delicious sauce options. I also got the pumpkin spice milkshake. YUM. Will go again when I’m back in town.

This restaurant is too good for Lebanon. We’ve tried Schmitza, We’ve tried Appletree, we’ve tried Shari’s, I thought I knew the quality of food in Lebanon. Then I saw this place online. I could tell by their menu that this place was good. It was well designed, and the prices didn’t have dollar signs, that’s a nice touch.
The atmosphere was chill, the music at the perfect volume, and good music too. I walked in and it smelled like a bar in the best way possible.
Now onto the food. The food is so damned good! I had the Phoenix Burger, it was at the perfect level of spicy. Enough to burn your mouth, but not novelty spicy, and they didn’t cover up poor quality burger with spicy peppers like some places do. The burger was perfectly cooked, solid, dense, meat cooked to a perfect juicy grey. The tater tots had some sort of Cajun seasoning on them and the ranch was thick and cold and garlicky, definitely made from scratch. And such huge portions!
Finally, don’t skip on the lemonade, I ordered the blackberry lemonade and I was the perfect balance of tart and sweet and flavorful blackberry. I ordered my refill with a little club soda in it and it elevated the drink.
All of this to say, try this restaurant!

I’ve reviewed this place before, but if a place goes out of their way to make you feel amazing when you walk in the door I think it needs revisiting. We came here for a second time and once again were blown away! We walked in and the owners were at a table, they were sending out samples of items that may be on the new menu for the whole linch rush could taste as a gift while we were waiting for our meals. The smokey bacon wrapped fried Oreos they sent to our table were to die for! The regular menu was perfect, the sauces made in house are drinkable and the meat so melt in your mouth savory and fresh. I once again, can not say enough about this place, I will be back again next time I we are in the area.

First time here and I’m so impressed. Will be back soon, as they are adding a build your own salad bar! Can’t wait. But I did enjoy their signature salads off of the menu today and it was amazing. Everything is fresh and the mozzarella sticks and sweet potato fries are pretty tasty too. Not greasy like other places I’ve tried. Our server today was on point and friendly and the new owner was welcoming and informative. I’m really excited to come back and try new things. ( that is when I have room again in my tummy) the portion sizes were large, but didn’t skimp on the quality!!!! The pictures I’ve posted do not do the food any justice as I couldn’t wait to dig in. Lol I promise the food comes to the table looking way better ! Lol

At J & C BBQ the owners pride them selves with great quality meats and food. Their restaurant is so unique to the local community of Lebanon, they offer a variety of delicious meats like brisket, pulled pork and chicken that are cooked to perfection everytime. Their prices are spot on with their portion sizes of the meal. Their menu offers a great variety for a small restaurant.

Establishment is clean and staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We ordered the Hot to Trot sandwich, Brisket Philly sandwich, Hushpuppies, Fried Pickles and the Bacon Jalapeno Mac N Chese. The meats were really good and the mac n cheese was delicious if you like jalapenos. The fried pickles were decently prepared, however the quality of the pickle itself was lacking. I was really excited to find another place that served hushpuppies, we were highly disappointed when we got.home and they were still doughy in the middle. Overall experience was good, just won’t order sides next time.
