The staff were so friendly and helpful! The menu is on full display right behind the counter, where you’ll order once you’re ready. The food was fresh and prepared very well! The smoked wings with the dry rub were very flavorful, and the ribs, along with the brisket were also very good! Whenever I’m back in the area, I’ll definitely make a return trip!

When asked where do you want to eat, the kids always say Moes BBQ! They are so friendly, always greeting as soon as you walk through the door. The food is so good and the banana pudding is heaven in your mouth (or i imagine its what heaven would be like.. perfection)

The service was also very friendly and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed.
I got baked beans & Moe’s fries as a side. The fries were perfectly seasoned, baked beans were probably some of the best…definitely Memphis style. The cornbread is flat top grilled style….delicious as a counterpart to any spicier wings or sauce.
Anyone that wants excellent BBQ, I reccomended.

First time to Mies BBQ. The food was excellent. We were greeted as we came in and were shown the menu in the in ig board. We ordered and paid at the bar. Our food was done in about 10 minutes. They have a wide variety of beers. Will definitely be back.

Stopped into Moe’s Original BBQ in Newark and ordered the po-boy with a side of slaw. The po-boy was stacked so high I thought I might need a ladder, and the slaw was so good it could’ve been the main dish. Service was quick, the vibe was relaxed, and if you leave hungry..thats on you..not Moe!

Better than I expected. Every state thinks they have the best BBQ. Someone told me they just say it’s Alabama BBQ here at Moe’s.
We had ribs and wings and several sides. All of it was delicious. The wings were exceptional. The cornbread is great. Everything seems to have a perfect blend of sweet and spice.
I particularly appreciate that the slaw is a vinegar based recipe and not mayonnaise (because mayo is nasty).
The vibe is cool. The service was great – very quick and friendly.

Excellent BBQ especially for central Ohio standards! Easily the best BBQ I’ve had in that portion of the state. Staff was friendly and very prompt in getting the food out very quickly after ordering. We visited friends we hadn’t seen in a long time and despite it being during the lunch rush, the atmosphere wasn’t overwhelming in terms of noise and allowed for conversation.

We were here for a quick bite and business meeting. Unfortunately, they were out of ribs but all the food we ordered were delicious! We got pulled pork sandwich, wings, and fried catfish sandwich along with their mac and cheese, Cole slaw, and beans. Honestly, there wasn’t anything we didn’t like! Price was decent and expected for a BBQ joint. Portions were good.
Customer service was superb! We were helped by Crissy and our table had a wonderful conversation with her about the area which we were very thankful for bc we are new here. She cleaned up after us and let us enjoy our time there.
Bathrooms were clean and to the side so no awkward walk throughs around the restaurant and around employees.
The decor was absolutely amazing and gorgeous! The work that went into the tables and the ceiling is astounding. Respect to the people who did them! The pictures simply do not do them justice.
We were impressed, for sure. We will be back and forth to the area so we know we will be back again for the experience.
