Amazing spot. It’s a tad hard to find, tucked into the Veterans Affair building. This is probably the best breakfast burrito in town. It’s only open on Thursday and Friday with an outdoor setup randomly located on Saturday. Every order comes with hot sauce and the hot sauce is about a 1/2 jalapeno level of heat but it’d habanero-based so it’d a bit fruity. The whole thing has hints of cardamon or allspice. The service here is fantastic. The dudes who work here are both easy going and really friendly. I guess my only issue is the cost of the burritos which is a tad expensive for this area.

A little gem, hidden inside of the Rupert Huse Veteran Center building, 1st floor. Limited hours, Th, Fr, 8-1:30.
Got a great steak, egg, cheese burrito $14. The homemade hot sauce was the kicker. A few nice young guys trying to make it. Support local entrepreneurs…

Just had the best breakfast burrito that I’ve had in years, full stop. For context, I’m a CA transplant and I’ve been searching for a good breakfast burrito since we moved to Gvl about 6 years ago. Found these guys on ChatGPT and made my way over to the Veterans Center on Pelham Rd. Met Richie, the owner, and had a nice chat while they were making my burrito.

The burrito itself was amazing. Tortilla was soft and slightly chewy, the tots added some contrasting crispiness, and the carne asada was cooked to perfection. The habanero sauce was arguably the best part that brought all the flavors and textures together. Portion size was spot on.

Looking forward to going again and again and trying everything on their menu!

I came here a few times and the food was good. The size of the burritos are small could be bigger for the prices. The lady who you order with could work on her customer service she isn’t very welcoming at all seems like people coming in are inconveniencing her. She never greets me or says have a good day when I leave. Last time I went there I found hair in my food. That and how I was treat is the main reason I haven’t been back.

Daylight Burrito woke up one day and chose violence against mediocre breakfast.

This burrito is so full it should come with a waiver. I picked it up and immediately understood why people talk about “hand feel” in food reviews. Thick tortilla, fluffy eggs, meat that actually showed up to the meeting, and not a single sad bite anywhere.

One bite in and I started mentally apologizing to every other breakfast burrito I’ve ever hyped up. They didn’t deserve that confidence. This place is operating on a completely different tax bracket of flavor.

I came in for fuel. I left emotionally supported, physically humbled, and late to wherever I was supposed to be. This burrito didn’t just feed me — it altered my schedule.

If you’re looking for a light breakfast, keep driving. If you’re looking for a burrito that respects you as a person, congratulations, you’ve found it.

10/10. Will be back. Possibly tomorrow. Possibly in denial.

Just had the Carne Asada burrito and man let me tell you.. being from Texas you don’t see any breakfast burritos around. Came in to check this place out and sheesh the burrito was the best I’ve had in a very long time. Richie and his crew know what they are doing! I will definitely be back

Best breakfast burritos in the Upstate. Highly recommend. The one star reviews are wild.. how can you rate a business one star without even going trying the product much less walk inside.

The best breakfast burrito this side of the Mississippi! This is a solid way to keep you full all day. Don’t skip on the hot sauce. In fact, snag a bottle if they gottem.
Always great to get one fresh but it’s been an awesome surprise to find them hot and ready at my local coffee shop stops around town.
Don’t sleep on Daylight!

Excellent breakfast burrito. Richie helped me choose a chorizo and bacon breakfast burrito and it was particularly good. Cool spot to sit and eat as well. Would recommend for a quick breakfast stop OR a sit down meal.

Decided to check them out, as I found out they’re our neighbors (shout out from LowCountry Male/AquaVitae!). Ordered the chorizo burrito. Killer burrito. I like the tortilla they used which is a bit softer than a normal tortilla. Kind of like the texture of a crepe or a soft roti . The red sauce on the side has a nice punchy flavor also. Now understand the enthusiasm I’ve heard about them and their pop-ups. Will visit on the regular.
