We opted to sit at the bar, which turned out to be the best seat. He was phenomenal! Not only was he attentive, but he was incredibly informative regarding the menu. He walked us through the cocktail list and gave us the inside scoop on the food, making our experience feel personalized and top-tier.
The food was the biggest surprise of all. You might think you know what to expect from a taco spot, but the flavors here are on another level. It truly feels like a five-star dining experience in a cool, approachable atmosphere.
Tacos were fresh and flavorful (especially the carnitas and fish taco). Friendly staff, great vibe — definitely a place to check out if you’re craving Mexican food in San Francisco!
The chips and salsa that they give you to start…is perfect… The chips feel fresh and the salsa is that really good kind… Check out the picture.
I didn’t get any drinks with alcohol but they looked good as they passed by.
The OJ and lemon soda was yummy. The environment is comfortable. Forget about parking, play the car far away and walk. The street of Valencia is slowly decomposing… It’s unfortunate but hopefully it can survive.
Quality was top notch. The soup was great, the salad even better the shrimp was small like Gulf shrimp, but that was great for a taco, big shrimp don’t always work in a taco. The Coca-Cola carnitas was good but needed something, couldn’t put my finger on it.
Fish was fresh and tasty, and the chicken was fine. For the queso, it was good, but more of the chile would have brought it to another level.
The churritos were over-cooked a bit and the oil probably wasn’t hot enough, they came out a little oily/greasy. Caramel sauce slightly over done.
Will definitely come back and see if the small wiggles we had were one-offs. Chill atmosphere, good to great food, excellent service.
Service was outstanding, Nico wasn’t at the table too much or too little, just right.
