Have been going here for years. Not sure if it’s changed owners recently but the food and service has improved. Used to be a little inconsistent but the last few visits it has been superb. Fresh food and relatively quick service (they are often VERY busy so there’s sometimes a small wait). Use the QR code and order on your phone. So easy and efficient. We will be back

The fact you will most likely have to wait to get a seat at the train or a booth just means the sushi is so fresh due to turnover. Best to order your favourites from the online menu so the staff make them fresh or grab from wherever they might be on the train.
Even when it’s busy it’s rarely mor than a half hour wait for a 4 table.

Great place to enjoy sushi. Getting the fried croquette from the conveyor belt was not good as it was cold and soggy. Wait times could be long especially for dinner.

Been coming here for years as a family favourite.
Walking into Sushi Train Sutherland, I was immediately impressed by the lively and family-friendly atmosphere. The restaurant was packed, but the staff was able to seat us right away.

The vibe at Sushi Train Sutherland is fun and casual. The restaurant is decorated under a big plywood tree feature.

I ordered the salmon and avocado seafood ship and the mixed sashimi plate. The salmon and avocado seafood ship was delicious! The salmon was fresh and flavorful, and the avocado was creamy and delicious. The mixed sashimi plate was also excellent. The sashimi was fresh and high-quality, and there was a great selection to choose from.
Next time, I would love to try the chicken katsu curry and the gyoza.

Dec 22- Had the zaru soba and it was terrible. The soba noodles had a horrible chalky texture which stuck to the teeth. It was also soggy and clumped together. The dipping sauce was warm and basically spya sauce. Unfortunately the prices have also gone up making it not that cheap anymore.

Had dinner here the other night and it was great! We have finally found a decent sushi train that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. There is a good variety of dishes and some that are not so commonly found at a sushi train like baby squid nigiri, sweet prawn nigiri and aburi wagyu with uni, all under $5.50.

If you’re someone who enjoys Japanese cuisine, I highly suggest giving Sushi Train Sutherland a try. It’s advisable to arrive early to secure a seat and fully enjoy the delectable food. Not only is the food incredibly tasty, but the staff members are also friendly and always have a smile on their faces. I strongly recommend visiting Sushi Train Sutherland.

Delicious, fresh sushi with many different options to pick from! They also serve alcohol which is a huge plus! Possibly the best sushi train in the region. Will definitely be back again! 100% recommend.
