I haven’t been to this place since we moved to Texas over 10 years ago, but I’m happy to say it’s still just as great as I remember. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are almost unheard of these days. In a time when grabbing breakfast can easily run you $15 or more, this place still serves up solid meals for as little as $6—and you won’t leave hungry.
It has that classic, old-school diner feel that’s getting harder to find. The atmosphere is simple and familiar in the best way—no frills, just good food, quick service, and fair prices. The menu has all the diner favorites, and everything we tried was hot, fresh, and made just right. You can tell they take pride in keeping things consistent.
Service was fast and friendly, which only added to the overall experience. It’s the kind of place where you can sit down, eat well, and walk out feeling like you got way more than your money’s worth.
If you’re looking for a nostalgic, no-nonsense breakfast or lunch spot that still believes in value and quality, this is it. So glad we came back—and we’ll definitely be back again soon.

Ordered the famous ham breakfast. Food was OK. The ham was dry and got cold very quickly. They did come by about 38 times to top off the coffee, so I never had to worry about drinking cold coffee. The ladies were nice and the atmosphere is very old school diner. The prices are VERY reasonable.

Have only tried their breakfast, I’ll say it’s the best I’ve had in a very long time, especially their hashbrowns which are cut and shredded everyday. Service is awesome! Very nice with great sense of humor and efficient. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. You could walk in for the first time and feel like you belong there, very welcoming.

This is how a café is supposed to be for breakfast. I came here with my kids, and had no less than 3 different people ask if I had my drinks ordered. The food was done right, and to the liking of my kids, who tend to be picky eaters. My omelette was cooked perfectly, and the grits were delicious. For a breakfast and lunch place, I recommend it not just for the food, but for the service. Everyone was highly professional. I’ll make this a regular stop.

Came here for lunch and got the steak and cheese sub from the lunch special menu. It comes with your choice of half order of fries, soup or salad. It was a really good steak and cheese, the service was great and food came out really fast. I’ll be back to try other sandwiches on their menu.

Shouldn’t have waited so long to finally stop by! Food was delicious with generous portions & reasonable prices! Staff was friendly & very helpful. Country fried steak wasnt on the menu but they still were able to make it happen. Will DEF be my go to breakfast spot from now on during my work week.

This place has top-notch service bar none. The waitstaff are friendly and efficient, the food is good and while not tops on ambiance, the staff are friendly and make the atmosphere 5 stars. The prices remain competitive, in an extremely competitive market. I go to a few places for breakfast and Liz’s is always on the short list.

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant regularly for the past 25 years. Eddie and his staff always go out of their way to provide us with great service. Food is always consistently freshly prepared and high quality. Also priced very competitively. Highly recommend Liz’s for a quick breakfast or lunch.

Best restaurant in the area. Very kid friendly. They have claw machines to keep the kids happy and coloring books. There is always a place to sit. Great bacon. Their food is fast and always delicious. The owner always walked around asking if you enjoyed your meal. To me that’s what makes a good restaurant. They are very accommodating to food allergies and substations.

Been going here for many years after my younger brother got me going there. Absolutely the best food I’ve had in many years. Eddie and crew are amazing people who are courteous and friendly. He cares about the quality of his food and does not skimp on portions. He treats his employees and customers as one big family. And the food is excellent and very price friendly. Great biscuits and gravy.
