On 18 April 2025, I ordered via app, went through the drive through where the store manager (SM) told me to wait in the front of the store. He said he’d bring the food to me when it was ready. Note, the app said 10 minutes, though given how slow the workday was, I assumed it’d be faster. I was with my kid who I thought I’d only have to distract for 10 minutes max. I waited over 20 minutes seeing a couple new customers come and go, so I decided to check in the store. I brought my kid in and asked about the food, only for the SM to realize the food has been waiting near the drive through counter. He didn’t say sorry and just handed me the food. I asked what was with the poor customer service to which he eventually said sorry for, but didn’t say anything beyond that.
I took the food and went home, only realizing then that the order was incorrect. Not only was the food late, cold, but it also had missing items. I went back to the store and explained this to the SM. He didn’t say sorry, but rather he instantly said he put the order in correctly. I knew that was a lie so I told him, feel free to check the CCTV. I tried calling the number on a store sign about customer service which isn’t even working. I explained this to the SM who said it works too. I called in front of him to show it doesn’t.
Not sure what’s wrong with this store and SM, but they don’t want to admit they’re wrong even when it’s clear as day. He eventually redid my order, but the damage is done. This SM tarnished this franchise’s reputation.
