This is a good spot to come to. The food quality is consistently great, the atmosphere is fun and lively, and never too noisy. Overall it’s a place I genuinely like to come with family and friends.
Once the main meal is over though, the service seems to disappear. Getting someone’s attention for dessert or the check becomes a challenge. On our most recent visit, it took about 45 minutes with us pressing the service button, and stopping three different servers before they finally came by for us. By the time they were ready for our dessert order, we were just ready for the bill. There’s no vents so when you’re done eating you’re just sitting in the heat, and it becomes apparent especially when you can’t order the ice cream then after.
I highly recommend the ube shaved ice cream by the way. It does take some time to make, and unfortunately, seemingly, trying to get somebody to take your dessert order takes even more time.
It’s a great place with great food but it’s surprisingly hard to wrap up your meal. I hope they can improve the end-of-meal service, because everything else about the experience is wonderful.

I had an amazing experience at this authentic Korean restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming service made me feel at home.
The quality of the ingredients in every dish is excellent, everything was fresh, and the flavors were incredible. The BBQ was perfect, best I’ve ever had.
If you’re looking for delicious Korean food in a cozy atmosphere, this place is a must-visit! I can’t wait to go back.

Hands down the BEST place in town! I love the atmosphere and vibes!! Food is great and on top of that the manager is very friendly and professional. I always take my family here. I can never go wrong. Every dish is so delicious and even the side dishes are amazing! Definitely would go back here and recommend to my love ones!

We went to Chicago Galbi House and had a great overall experience.
The restaurant is easy to find and parking was simple since it’s located in a plaza. Inside, it’s very spacious, which I really liked — didn’t feel cramped at all. The employees were friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in.
We started with the seafood pancake, which was delicious and perfectly crispy. Definitely recommend. We also ordered the steamed eggs, but those were overcooked and not something I’d get again. Had much better ones!
For our main dish, we ordered the pork backbone and potato soup, and wow — the pork literally fell off the bone. So tender and full of flavor. That dish alone made the visit worth it.
At the end of the meal, they give you a soft serve ice cream! So yummy!
Would definitely come back and try more from the menu!
Side note: There are no vents at the tables. Your hair and clothes will smell like Korean bbq! Lol

Great Korean bbq location that isn’t all you can eat. I was very pleased by the assortment of banchan. They provide high quality meats, particularly their kalbi. We came with a group of 7 and received a hemul pajeon for free. The real star in my opinion is their naengmeyon. It’s refreshing, clean, and has great texture with the chewy noodles. Getting the kalbi and a bowl of naengmeyon is the way to go. The cherry on top was getting ice cream as a nice sweet treat to cap off the meal.

The food at this place was okay, but what truly impressed me was the amazing atmosphere. The staff was good, but I felt they could be friendlier, especially for first-timers like us. We had no idea what to expect from the menu or how the dishes were prepared.
A bit more guidance on the menu options and cooking methods would have gone a long way in helping us order something that suited our taste. With better guidance, we might have enjoyed the food more.
Overall, the ambiance was a highlight, and with some improvements in staff interaction and menu guidance, this place could really shine.

Absolutely amazing Korean BBQ experience! The quality of the food was outstanding- fresh, flavorful meats and delicious sides that kept coming. Everything was incredibly clean and well-maintained, which made the whole experience even better. The service was top-notch… attentive, friendly, and quick without feeling rushed. And the ice cream at the end? The perfect sweet finish to an already fantastic meal. Can’t wait to come back!

The service was first class from start to finish. They checked on us often without hovering and made our family feel welcome the whole time.
My personal favorite was the ube vanilla swirl dessert — creamy, light, and just plain yummy. My son couldn’t stop smiling, and honestly the whole family kept saying “wow” because the side dishes just kept coming and each one was delicious.
