December 1946 Richard Dick Clark opened an ice cream, and short orders shop in a small addition next to his uncle’s grocery store, Sutton’s grocery located at 702 N. Prince St. The shop quickly evolved into a full dine in/carry out restaurant with a full menu that includes Steaks, Pizza, Spaghetti, Sandwiches, Beer, Wine and Ice Cream. The Restaurant has become known to the locals as Dick Clark’s Family Restaurant and has been continually been operated by the Clark Family for the past 75 years. The Clark Family has expanded the restaurant several times over the years to now include meeting room and a large banquet room with a capacity of 200. The Clark Family invites you come visit the next time you’re in town and see where the locals go

Awful from beginning to end !! That was our first and last visit there !! That’s exactly what we left , couldn’t even eat it all . Charged over 50.00 My neice and nephew took me out for my birthday and I chose there to eat ; I was disappointed, mad you name it . There wasn’t anyone there except a 2 couples.

Nothing but good things to say… 18 of us visited this past Sunday after church. I made reservations and we were seated in a private room in the back. It’s hard to please everyone, but everyone enjoyed their food and the experience. The menu offers a little bit of everything, so everyone was happy!
Kimberlin was our server and she provided excellent service! She was wonderful! The restaurant was really busy while we were there but we wanted for nothing. Thank you for taking such great care of us!

Typically don’t have any problems. But unfortunately tonight’s visit didn’t go as planned. I typically get extra catfish nuggets when I get the meal and don’t typically have any issues I don’t know if maybe it was because different people closed this evening but all I got was 10 nuggets and a thing of tarter sauce and for $12 that’s a rip off. I really love this restaurant but for the quantity you get its bogus.

We read reviews before going and the reviews was mixed, so we decided to try it anyway. It was on our way home and decided why not. So glad we stopped. We did have a late lunch, but the food came out fast and it was very good. I had a tenderloin and it was plenty big. The appetizer platter was huge! My husband ordered catfish and it was tasty. We will definitely be back when we get a chance. It’s a little drive, but I’m sure we will be back in the area. I will have to say, I only saw one server, so I don’t know if that is common there. But the server did a really good job.My only complaint is it is a little dim lighting in there, but that is it. One thing I will point out is there is no kid menu. I definitely would recommend this place to others, because I already have.

This place is in desperate need of a deep clean. Floors a dirty, booths are full of food, and the lights above the booths are covered in splatters. THEN, the bathroom are disgusting. Residue on every surface, doors walls and its all brown. It’s painfully obvious the new owner (just like the old owner) doesn’t take pride in having a clean establishment. This is more than simple day to day mess, but months and (in the bathrooms case: years!) of built up grime. Would be perfect for the before videos for Kaboom! Foamtastic. Do better.
And note: I would complain in person but cleanliness isn’t something that should have to be brought up. There are several folks that know and just dont care. They don’t have the courtesy to clean.

This place is so terrible with time you have to sit here for 15 to 30 minutes to an hour to wait on a DoorDash order to be picked up from them. This is insane especially when the order is supposed to be picked up 1520 minutes ago DoorDash don’t get paid to sit here and wait on the order it’s not worth their time and this is the worst restaurant to come to because they are so slow they need to get more help and speed up their process. They’re lacking bad I give this place a zero star if I could

The servers were the only good things in this place. The food. Barely mid. This place. Idek tbh. The food is too expensive for what its worth. I dont think im coming back to this place. The kitchen looks like a bio-hazard.
