The food is really good I would recommend
When you first come on, there are 2 sections, a line with all of their options. It’s amazing what options they have. They have a big menu and I like the wifi password.
My friend got the avocado toast it was
I got the Parisian ham and butter with out pickles and it was great
I would definitely recommend this place to eat what with a friend, it is amazing
Keep it up!
Love you! ♥️
The egg croissant was equally impressive. Flaky and buttery, it was filled with a generous portion of fluffy scrambled eggs, making each bite indulgent yet comforting. The balance of textures and the freshness of the ingredients truly set this bakery apart. If you’re looking for a delicious brunch spot, this bakery is a must-visit
Epi french bread was rock hard? Not fresh or wrong recipe? Should have better quality control, especially when you are next to a French school.
They recently updated the decor, which was a huge upgrade – making the space more aesthetically pleasing and looking more like a traditional French bistro.
Unfortunately, they recently changed the recipe for some of their signature croissants – making them less appealing and much ‘heavier’ on the stomach. Specifically, the Ham & Cheese croissant was always a favorite of mine, and I would order it several times / week. Since trying out the new recipe, I haven’t ordered it since, and have little desire to order it going forward. It is heavy, has too much cheese, the ham isn’t dispersed adequately, and the flatness of it makes it look unappealing. I hope they reconsider some of the recent menu changes, as there was nothing wrong with the original menu items.
It’s attached to the private French high school, so you’ll often see students and teachers come in as well as locals who speak French, and it’s so fun to go to a cafe in Chicago and hear people converse with staff in French. It’s also a great place to work, catch up with friends and enjoy the outdoor patio when it’s warm out.
