It’s very peaceful, a bit expensive
The food is really good I would recommend
When you first come on, there are 2 sections, a line with all of their options. It’s amazing what options they have. They have a big menu and I like the wifi password.
My friend got the avocado toast it was
I got the Parisian ham and butter with out pickles and it was great
I would definitely recommend this place to eat what with a friend, it is amazing
Keep it up!

Love you! ♥️

This bakery is out of this world! Everything is fresh, the selection is great. They also sell imported french butter and french snacks. Would recommend and will return.

I recently visited a charming French bakery and was blown away by their avocado toast and egg croissant. The avocado toast was a perfect blend of creamy avocado, a perfectly cooked egg, creating a delightful harmony of flavors. The bread was fresh and toasted to perfection, adding a satisfying crunch.

The egg croissant was equally impressive. Flaky and buttery, it was filled with a generous portion of fluffy scrambled eggs, making each bite indulgent yet comforting. The balance of textures and the freshness of the ingredients truly set this bakery apart. If you’re looking for a delicious brunch spot, this bakery is a must-visit

Canele pastry was more than $4 a piece (almost $50 for 10), not $2.95 as advertised. Please display the correct pricing.
Epi french bread was rock hard? Not fresh or wrong recipe? Should have better quality control, especially when you are next to a French school.

This is one of my favorite spots in Chicago for authentic French pastries and baked goods. It is always bustling, and being next door to Lycee Francais (the French school) it has a true French vibe to it.

They recently updated the decor, which was a huge upgrade – making the space more aesthetically pleasing and looking more like a traditional French bistro.

Unfortunately, they recently changed the recipe for some of their signature croissants – making them less appealing and much ‘heavier’ on the stomach. Specifically, the Ham & Cheese croissant was always a favorite of mine, and I would order it several times / week. Since trying out the new recipe, I haven’t ordered it since, and have little desire to order it going forward. It is heavy, has too much cheese, the ham isn’t dispersed adequately, and the flatness of it makes it look unappealing. I hope they reconsider some of the recent menu changes, as there was nothing wrong with the original menu items.

Had a latte and a croissant that made me feel like I was in France. The pear & brie sandwich was good but a bit overpriced. Can’t wait to try more french pastries, jams, and other goodies the next time I visit!

This is genuinely one of the best bakeries in Chicago. I’m very picky about my croissants and very rarely get them because it’s so hard to find a good one, especially pain au chocolat. Look no further than La Boulangerie — they’re so authentic and fresh. The chocolate one specifically is divine. This was the first place I came to after a trip to Paris and felt transported back there by the pastries. Couldn’t recommend enough.

It’s attached to the private French high school, so you’ll often see students and teachers come in as well as locals who speak French, and it’s so fun to go to a cafe in Chicago and hear people converse with staff in French. It’s also a great place to work, catch up with friends and enjoy the outdoor patio when it’s warm out.

Very good brunch today at La Boulangerie. We had the Louis VI and the Wisconsin and both were very delicious. Paired with iced caramel lattes. Highly recommend this place for French Bakery cuisine, definitely hits the spot!

The Caribbean tart is delicious! Passionfruit, coconut and pineapple blended into this delicious smooth and creamy tart. Iced latte and avocado toast were also a hit. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

I’ve been coming here for YEARS. At least once a month, or I’ll order it to go. Each time I get the same thing – the ham and cheese and egg (scrambled) on a croissant. This time, I opted to try something new – a turkey sandwich. I asked the woman at the counter three times, is this sandwich warm, and her response was yes. Upon receiving it, it was in fact a cold sandwich. I brought it to her attention and she said the bun is warmed but that’s it. I then turned to a woman who was also operating the counter and asked if I can replace the sandwich with something else. She huffed and puffed about it and said fine. I asked for my usual, egg, cheese and ham croissant. And, mentioned to scramble the egg or at least break the yolk. She said NO special requests. I said, I get this all the time here. She then got aggressive with me and then stormed off to the manager who was working the cook station. I then spoke with the manager who ALSO said she will not scramble the egg. Note, the place was not busy at all. I received a full refund. Left and immediately called the Logan square location to see if I could get a corporate number to express my concerns. I spoke with the manager and she said that someone will be in touch with me immediately. It’s been three weeks and no one has called me. This is extremely sad because I really love this place. Yet, if this is how they treat customers……especially loyal ones, I’ll take my money elsewhere. The way I was treated was shameful.
