Japanese treats. The lunch combo plates are fun, give a lot of options and offer sizable portions. I ordered the fried fish and the teriyaki steak. My wife ordered a roll of sushi and the gyoza. They serve complimentary warm tea on the house. Clean, good quality and value. The only downside was the odor permeating the restaurant and the store. It smelled like a broken sewer or downed pipe. It did affect our experience. I’m hoping that it’s a temporary issue. That being said, I’d still recommend this spot to anyone. It’s clean, the service was good and the food was tasty.
It was fantastic! The food tastes the same…actually even better, especially the curry. They said it got spicier, but honestly, it tasted better than ever. And the chicken nanban was unbeatable! We also love ordering the katsudon.
We’re so happy they’re back in business, and we’ll definitely be coming often as usual. If this is your first time visiting, definitely try the katsu curry and chicken nanban. I’ve never had anything quite like it in Atlanta. 🙂
Anyways, husband got shoyu ramen and I got the lunch katsudon bowl it tasted exactly like the old location and hit the spot. So happy!!! Thank you guys!
They have a great variety of lunch menu options, and the inside of the restaurant was very clean.
The food was served quickly as well.
The taste was excellent, the service was great, and the presentation was wonderful.
I especially enjoyed being able to watch the sushi chef make the sushi right in front of me — it added to the overall experience.
The prices were also very reasonable.
This time, I had the sushi lunch, but next time I’d like to try the chirashi sushi lunch.
If you’re looking for a good place to try real Japanese cuisine and learn about the culture, this is it!
