Boston was unforgiving that evening—one of those bone-chilling winter nights where the cold seeps through gloves and scarves, hovering around -15°C, the kind that makes you question every step outside. I had just wrapped up my day and wanted something quick, warm, and familiar before retreating back indoors. Right across the street sat a Chipotle. Easy choice, I thought. A franchise. Predictable. At the very least, decent.
I had glanced at the reviews earlier and noticed quite a few negative ones, but I brushed them off. How bad could it really be? Unfortunately, those reviews ended up echoing my exact experience. Inside, the place felt rushed and oddly disengaged—as if everyone was physically present but mentally somewhere else. The food wasn’t bad in a dramatic way, but it lacked care. Ingredients were kind of plopped together without much thought, no rhythm, no warmth—culinary or otherwise. Portions were fine, so no complaints there, but the bowl felt more assembled than made.
What stood out most was the absence of energy. No sense of pride, no friendliness, no attempt to elevate even a routine meal. The place is small, making it difficult to sit comfortably and eat. Despite catering to many university students, the service and attitude are very poor (at least that day). Some of the staff preparing the dishes showed zero friendliness and courtesy, and were constantly distracted by each other, as if they forgot they were there for the customers.

There’s going downhill And then there’s taking a subterranean nosedive. That’s the only way I can describe how ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE The service and food at Chipotle has become. For your health, safety, and financial well-being, avoid this restaurant like it may have the bubonic plague. Because it may not be that far off from true. I haven’t eaten at this restaurant in quite some time. Just on impulse, I decided to order a meal on my way to my night job because this particular restaurant hours of operations are until 11:00 p.m. And just for the sake of convenience, I ordered on the app. Those were the two mistakes I made in this endeavor. Where I chose to eat and how I chose to order my food. The two primary pieces of evidence that make me question my own intelligence. A single bowl cost me a total of $18. This is what I got for $18. And it was even remotely accurate. And missing items. There’s no way I can conceivably eat what looks to be a pile horse excrement. Any and all future business I have with this establishment is now and forever terminated. I HIGHLY suggest you do the same FOR YOUR OWN PERSONAL HEALTH.

I ordered for delivery, my first & only driver assigned went to the store and was told that my food was already picked up by someone else (more like stolen but it’s what I was told). So my order was looking for a new delivery driver after they refused to remake it for the first one. So I end up having to switch for pickup and when I show up, my order wasn’t on the shelf and I was denied for my food to be remade, after I had paid. Really just an inconvenience and just ended up ordering at the store and paying again. Really bad customer service.

This is easily the worst Chipotle I have ever been to in my entire life. I went here once 2 months ago, saw the bad reviews, thought it would be fine. I was wrong. Tried it again today, 2 months later, it was just as bad.
– All the tables are filthy, guarantee they don’t get cleaned more than like twice a day
– The cashier that checked me out barely spoke English, I tried to ask him a question about my order and I don’t think he even understood me so I just gave up
– The staff are generally not very friendly and pretty loud, sounded like I was inside the kitchen from the edge of the dining area
– I tried asking the cashier if the drink machine was working, he didn’t understand me, and low and behold the drink I wanted to get (Coke Zero) wasn’t working. Can’t say I’m surprised
Only redeeming factor was that the food was decent. Chicken and steak didn’t look that good but I got barbacoa and it was good enough.
Everything else was about as bad as it can get without posing health risks tho. It’s pretty clear the management just does not care at all about training their workers to maintain the place well or having proper service
I literally NEVER write reviews for restaurants unless they’re super good or super bad so.
Recommend not going here if you want somewhere clean to have a meal, if you’re getting it for takeout then I guess it’s fine tho
Update: I still go here sometimes because it’s the only one walking distance from my house. Got a stomach virus after eating here last week though, so I think I’m gonna have to stop going altogether
If I could give this location negative stars for actively detrimenting my life, I would. Saying I have been “dissatisfied” with this location would be an understatement

EVERY food item was terribly salty — the sofritas, salsa, even guacamole, numbs your tongue. Sodium content through the ceiling you could feel your body try to flush it out desperately after eating.
Staff was also rude — there is a promo flyer but no one can help me figure out how to get the advertised promo.

I try to never leave negative reviews, but this location is always a problem. Today the cashier walked away right before I went up to pay.
After a few minutes of nobody addressing this I tried to get people’s attention and was completely ignored.
I tried to flag down an employee who was clearly off the clock which he stated but he did try to get someone to help me.
No one did.
I hadbto leave because my bus was pulling away so I just left my food on the counter. From the bus I could see minutes later that no one had come to take of the customers behind me.
Either fix this location or close it.

Consistent Chipotle quality food. The staff is helpful. However, this is the least clean Chipotle I’ve been to. The restaurant floor needs to be swept. And the food serving countertop needs to be wiped. The restaurant looks dirty and the ambient is not appetizing. Not recommended.

Always a solid healthy spot for consistently good food options the new chicken Al pastor was really good doubled the meat and added the guacamole and cheese along with their hot salsa(not that hot) and peppers n onions delicious it was at 9:20 so it was a bit dirty and and looked like it was in need of a good cleaning but the food was solid! Also put some of the Tabasco for some extra heat
