I love their vegetable lo mein!
They called back and had to confirm 3x that I was not intending to call the same name location in another town. OK so now it’s 20 minutes from that point, because they haven’t started it. Geez. Got there, tried to made small talk about the TVs that weren’t hooked up. Language barrier…
Well let’s start with the dumplings. The pork looks and tastes like chicken. But they don’t sell chicken dumplings. And it’s not vegetable. The brown sauce is oddly liquidy… Tastes like soy sauce with corn syrup dumped in. So poured in hot sauce in til I can’t taste it.
Didn’t get better from there. Egg rolls were super doughy, like they just tasted like fried bread. The pork fried rice is GREASY. like it’s majorly cooked in pork fat, for literally no reason. The chicken lo mein just tastes like salty cabbage.
Not to mention the portions are stiffed on the combos. They fill 4/5ths with the rice and but smeared the combo food covering the rice up to the half so it looks like they filled it 50/50.
With the amount of competition for places to eat in Milford, there’s no excuse for eating here.
The egg drop soup was practically broth, very little “Drop” just “stock”. The broccoli was mushy and had an extremely sweet taste as well. None of the food tastes like how it did in the past, I would say a lot of this might be a result of the new automated cooking system they are using. Seems to be more young people working at this place now, A lot more interested in taking bong rips out the back door rather than cooking the food.
This had been a family of 10’s favorite Chinese restaurant for a very long time. Very few of the original people are working here, I feel it was bought out. I won’t be going back.
Rice and the noodles were awesome and the soup was some of the best I’ve ever ha
I am so surprised and disappointed. We have never had bad food before. Food is too expensive to throw away. $15 in the garbage can.
Update: They now have new owners are great thank goodness!! I gave em a chance again and glad I did. Now I can support a better small business owner who is much more careful as to what they serve! The poke bowls are great and they make my order perfect every time! Custom orders too!!! Their contactless delivery at work was great. The gentleman has a cart you open to take it out. He had the card machine right there to process the payment and it prints the receipt immediately you grab. Wow A+ service now! Thank you NEW new star owners for everything. I order at least once a week!!
