I’ve been holding off on a review bc I understand working fast food during dinner hours, but just about every time I go here they’ve got something wrong, either that or the food is just poor condition. This time the customer service was a little rude, my fries were unsalted, sweet tea unsweet, and the burgers had sauce all over the wrappers. I don’t expect much from McDonald’s but bare minimum would be nice.

everytime i go here i ask for extra spicy pepper sauce on the sandwich and on the side. and they are always stingy w the sauce even when i pay for the extra. im just a pregnant woman with cravings. hate getting home and i get a drop of sauce on a dry sandwich.

McDonald’s has been America’s most beloved fast food restaurant across the 50 states for decades. These golden arches, for many people, have provided fond memories growing up going to these restaurants, and trusting them for an efficient meal. Customers have come to rely on this chain known for its efficiency, welcoming atmosphere, and consistency in product quality. The McDonald’s on Washington Street in Stephenville, Texas, has none of those qualities; it is plagued by slow service, stony staff, and the condition of the store and food are poor. Rather than supplying the consistency and comfort the McDonald’s brand promises, it consistently leaves customers frustrated.
The service at the McDonald’s on Washington Street is exceptionally slow, making your trip, which should have been quick and easy, into a long and arduous trip. Customer Alyssa Powers left a review recently stating, she waited for over an hour for only two items she ordered through the mobile app. This wait for only a couple of items placed ahead of time goes against the standards and promises the McDonald’s company upholds for efficiency. The company built its reputation by being a quick and efficient way to get food, whether for a quick break or if you don’t have time to cook a meal. This helps to prove the point that the McDonald’s on Washington Street is inefficient and slow. McDonalds’ are supposed to be a quick and reliable fast food restaurant.
The staff at this location comes across as unpleasant and unwelcoming, which dampens the whole experience. “This is the kind of McDonald’s where you hear people say the workers are unpleasant, and management doesn’t care. It’s the McDonald’s of all McDonald’s, if you will,” said Lilly Brably on a Google review. Having unpleasant staff makes ordering and being served a frustrating experience, but then having management seem like they have no interest in helping the situation makes your whole experience even worse. From the experience of Nolan, he was able to hear the staff in the back complaining and using vulgar language while working. This attitude in a space where customers can hear is unwelcoming and unprofessional, especially when the restaurant is marketed towards families of young children. Shoen Flax left in his review, “What I can say about this McDonald’s is that I constantly get my orders given to me with missing items, and every time I try to call the store, the call never gets picked up.” This shows the quality of the staff; they don’t care. McDonald’s should be a place where you are welcomed and feel respected.
The quality of food and atmosphere in this restaurant was poor quality and not taken care of properly. Stephen Bowers said, “Every table is dirty and trashed. We had to wipe our own table down. The drink area is trashed, too.” Nolan has had the same experience himself. Finding all surfaces covered in trash or sticky. The drink counter was also poorly maintained, as there was spilled soda and no straws or napkins. A restaurant should be kept clean and neat at all times; this shows the lack of care the staff have for the establishment and for customers. The food he received was also of poor quality, and no attention was paid to the items. He ordered a burger with no cheese because of his dietary restrictions. When he received his food, the burger was missing several ingredients, including extra toppings he had paid extra for. After asking and explaining to the staff, they remade the burger, but then added cheese to it. It is terribly upsetting to pay for food and then not receive what you ordered, especially if you can’t eat it. Laney Thibodeaux left a review stating, “I had hair in my fries. It is unacceptable that they have no hats on, and I have hair in my food. On top of that, it took 20 minutes to get my frozen Coke.” This McDonald’s serves food that is not of good quality, but that is also a health hazard. McDonald’s restaurants should have proper ways to serve food that is both efficient but also of good quality.

I went yesterday with my friends we got the chicken nuggets and we ended up with food poisoning pretty bad, I got the worst of it because I ate the most and spent my day throwing up and ended up throwing up a bit of blood because of how hard I was throwing up. Its mainly teens working there who dont care about their job or other people’s safety but people who work with food need to be careful. You can get people hurt very bad.

Why are the fries room temperature? I ordered my food on the kiosk then watched it sit on a rack for about 10 minutes before they called my table number, so of course my food was lukewarm. I proceeded to order more fries which were given to me almost immediately and they were still lukewarm???

The food is always ok from here sometimes fresh other times you can tell that its been out longer especially when it comes to there fries those are a hit and a miss if you get ones that have t been there for a good hot minute. The works tho over the years ig the work industry expects less from them because they have no personality and don’t greet you properly and when they open the window to give you your food half the time it’s did you order this (you confirm) then they hand you your food and shut the window and walk away. Inky a few times have I gotten a decent person who actually responds like they should to you when talking.
