Been craving some soul food and there aren’t any good soul food places in Decatur! I’ve been here a few times but it’s probably been about 2 years! I said I’m going to Mo’ Better! It’s still good! 3 pc dark Mac n yams. Bussin! The ladies that waited on me were very nice.

My friend recommended this little spot and omg she wasn’t playing. Collectively we tried alll the chicken, fried, baked and smothered. I can’t tell you how amazing this food was. The mac n chs was crisp on top and creamy in the middle, the yams were so good, we have to go back and hit all the other sides, everything looked delicious. We were so happy with our plates which came with cornbread and it was also smackin. It’s just my personal opinion but I have to say the smothered chicken was the star of the show, it had a little kick to it and everything. Chef’s kiss. I highly recommend this place. The people who work there were so sweet adding to our positive experience and the price is right. Must try. We will for sure be back very soon.

I went here on 7/26 for the first time. Prices and portions are fantastic food is delicious! I went just shortly after they opened up. I got the Mac and cheese with yams and cornbread comes with the meal I got the 3 pc dark fried chicken plate. Im going to put my friends and family onto this place. You get a good meal for a great price.

I’m glad we tried this place for dinner. Best baked and fried chicken in the area. Don’t know how we missed this gem of place. The food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The sides of rice, pigeon beans, pinto beans and okra were equally delicious as chicken. The owner of this place is courteous and friendly. She definitely knows her work. My money would be going to support business of my own people. Definitely my to go place and recommended place as well

Food was absolutely good! Made me miss grandma! I’m not from around this area so I stopped by from other google reviews. My only issue is the customer service was not good. The lady that helped me was not delightful and ruined the experience. I try to support black owned businesses, but always get shown why we have to do better ……
However , I got the dark chicken, black eyed peas and mashed potatoes. It was sooo good so definitely don’t hesitate to experience this place yourself. Support.

Ordered the smothered chicken, seasoned rice with gravy, black eyed peas, cornbread and sweet potato pie. The food was not good at not sure what how they made the sweet potato pie couldn’t have been with real potatoes. It was kind of jelly like. The food was sloppy and nasty. There were no onions or bell peppers or anything. No vegetables at all in the Black Eyed Peas the chicken, and the skin was just nasty and it wasn’t seasoned well at all I would not order here again. I flip the pie so you can see the crust like this I don’t know what this is. I’m annoyed cause I was really hungry and tried something new. $45 spent and wasted.

You cant go wrong with the Fried chicken its on point every time. They just serve the same ole food all the time never switch up the menu. Other foods are OK. They do have good greens and cabbage …. 6 out of 10

I visited this place earlier today. Customer service sucks. They weren’t friendly at all. I ordered the 2pc. Fried Chicken and a pepper. The chicken was hard as a rock. I couldn’t eat it. I will not be going back. By the way, this was my first and last time.

Lima beans dry, macaroni and cheese fry and hard like it’s been sitting for hours and neither of them had any flavor. The chicken was fresh. The cornbread was sweet like jiffy. Peach cobbler taste like it was made with no sugar added peaches and was horrible. First time here at the Stonecrest Mall location.
