I ordered my regular fav the Rueben Tempeh and salad which was served in minutes..which was the first sign of concern because in the past it has taken time to prepare and with the time it was always very fresh. I dined in and was served on first bite the bread was warm but the tempeh not so much. As I continued to eat the first 1/2 I noticed the second half edges of the tempeh looked less appetizing as if it was old or had been sitting for a while. It was discolored and dry definitely lacked the appearance of fresh which made sense of why it was served so quickly. I never like to return food, but I thought I’m not going to sit here and act as if it’s okay to be served something I can’t eat. I proceeded to ask politely to the server if I could ask a question hoping he would come to side of table but instead he looked at me like “what” while standing in place, so while I’m eating and trying to enjoy my meal I had to grab my plate and walk over to him and inquire abt the look of the food. I was immediately dismissed w/ a response oh thts because of the marinade of why it’s discolored as if I haven’t ordered this sandwich a 100xs to know the difference of fresh vs marinade…and hot vs Luke warm. Instead of suggesting something different or even to remake it he stated his why and left me with what I was totally unhappy with. The guy gave off I don’t want to be here vibes he lacked accommodation and a smile from the very beginning so I know the efforts in serving a good meal probably jst wasn’t there this day.
I literally had to tear off the hard dried out portions of the sandwich and left it on the plate and wht I couldn’t leave was in a napkin if u get my drift. I left saddened because I’ve always like Seedz and the service but this guy made for a bad experience. We all hve options of where to eat and this is why I visit often but I must admit this was disappointing…I hope this guy doesn’t treat others as poorly as he treated me.
Followed up with contact form via email next day; received no response.
The baked donuts were delicious – chocolate was my fav.
I had the taco salad – DELICIOUS
Hubby had the spicy chicken sando was a different take but extremely tasty!
Fresh greens juice hit the spot .
Did I mention service , location and staff were also perfect !?
The offer dishes for both breakfast and lunch, and they have a good variety of offering, as well as rotating specials. This last time I visited I had a tofu Bahn Mi sandwich and my husband had the spicy chicken sandwich. I thought the Bahn Mi was pretty tasty, and my husband liked his sandwich as well although it was a little messy with the sauce. In the past I think I’ve had some of their breakfast items and enjoyed their tofu scrambled eggs. They also have a variety of vegan pastries available that always look very appetizing. We tried a couple of their vegan donuts last time, match/mango and raspberry/chocolate.
The inside isn’t the biggest but they do have a few tables and can seat 1 or two larger groups. It does get a little cramped when it’s busy.
They also offer smoothies, teas and juices which are very good. This is definitely a place where you can eat more on the healthy side.
Oh and btw… I’m not vegan (or vegetarian), but love the super flavorful fresh food.
I’ve had the chorizo tacos, Nashville hot chicken sandwich, and Sante Fe chicken waffle (Sunday brunch). Lots of bright flavors and crisp textures. The chorizo isn’t exactly chorizo and the chicken isn’t exactly chicken, but as their own version of that with their own unique flavors, I’ll be back for more and more.
Right now I’m craving that Nashville chicken sandwich with a nice contrast of pickled things and crunchy soft bread and creamy sauce and seitan chicken. Yum
The weather was hot outside. Because of the vibe inside, a lady that ordered just before me allowed me to share a table. She ordered the strawberry shortcake, while I had a cookie, cake loaf, and shake.
The restaurant has great plant based food, a good vibe, and not to be overlooked, a very clean bathroom.
We were in town visiting family over the Thanksgiving holiday. We asked my sister where was a good place to grab black bean burgers, and she said Seeds is the spot hands down.
She was correct. The black bean burgers were ! The fresh juices washed them down with such a clean taste. We will be coming back soon and also every time we come up. Very peaceful and chill vibe with great staff members. All around 5☆☆☆☆☆’s
