CHEF Joe,s story to become entrepreneur began at the well-known restaurant Asia Kitchen here in San Antonio, Texas. As a young child Joe worked side by side with his family and fell in love with the wonderful world of everyday life cooking his mom’s homemade Thai cuisine. As partners we decided to extend the amazing taste of Thai food throughout San Antonio from Asia Kitchen to the Golden Lotus. We will bring you the finest Thai dishes from our hearts to yours!

Golden Lotus Thai just moved to Pipe Creek they are no longer located in Helotes. & honestly this place is worth the drive!! So happy we found this place!! The owners are so sweet and really love what they do! Everything was delicious & spicy!! So much flavor in everything we got. We ordered to go and could not wait to get home. We pulled over and tried everything right away. We devoured the mango sticky rice within seconds! We will definitely be going here all the time & can’t wait until they open up their restaurant!!

Made a mistake by placing a DoorDash order for pickup on Saturday evening. The place was swamped and I was lucky to find someone leaving so I could park. Had I not, I would have had to park a quarter mile away on the Boerne Stage Road shoulder – – not safe.
Our order was ready on time so pickup was fast. The workers were friendly.
My wife got the kids chicken fried rice with two spring rolls. She gave it a 5/10. Wasn’t very flavorful. Spring roll wrappers were greasy. The portion was very generous.
I got the pork belly with rice, a vegetable dish and an order of spring rolls. The pork belly was sliced thin and cooked like bacon : crisp. Very salty. The rice and vegetable dish were OK. Portion size was OK.

Food was absolutely delicious! Try the mango sticky rice; it’s devine. I ordered the Pad See Ew & the kid’s meal rice for a side. The rice was big enough for an adult & came with two spring rolls. I also got to try some of the cury rice & that was so good also. My only concern was the seating was on gravel, so it was difficult “sliding” my chair in & out from the table & they also didn’t have a trashcan available to throw anything away. They do come out to take trash & offer bags to take things to go, however. Very friendly & polite. Great service. 10/10✨ ✨

This has become my families favorite place to eat. Ever. We’ve tried almost everything and have 0 complaints about anything. The people are always kind and happy to see you. The prices are a bit high, but not at all when you consider how much food you get. You’re basically paying for 2 meals. We never finish a meal. Ever. It’s always split in half and enough to have the next day for lunch. Even the kids meals would be good portion for an adult. They’re huge. They don’t shy away from meat either. You get lots in every meal. Medium spice is perfect but if you want to sweat then Thai hot is for you
We get mild for the kids and they love it.
Our favorites would be the Red curry, Phad Thai, Kung Pow(amazing), the wings are incredible and the beef and broccoli too. I hope they get a building and stay in the area forever. Amazing food. Thank you so much for coming to pipe creek!!

Our FIRST visit – and looking forward to many more! Our only regret is not getting in line on their first day here in Pipe Creek! I had the cashew chicken, which was amazing. My wife had broccoli beef – and she was not interested in sharing. So yes, it was awesome (according to her). We did share the little veggie spring rolls, and we were both very pleased! We have leftovers for at least another meal, but we’ll be back soon to try everything on the menu!

This place is awesome! So happy they are closer to Bandera! But now that I’ve had it, i totally would have driven to Helotes. They did not disappoint. Pulling up to the location was a very nice surprise. Great ambiance, will have to bring my family for a sit down. We took it togo tonight. They were very fast and kind! Price for a family of 4, full meals with appetizers and a Thai tea, about 85 dollars. Considering the authenticity, portions and amazing quality, id say it’s worth it.

Tried it for the first time yesterday and we were not disappointed!
We ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, pot stickers, and egg rolls — all delicious and packed with flavor.
On top of that, the customer service was fantastic!
