I really wanted to show my fiance what BBQ really is and of course I know what you’ll tell me you can’t expect Boston to be that good. I agree, I grew up in the South and barbecue there is way better. But there were things like Mac n Cheese that were too buttery and not cheesey. The cheese tasted more like butter than cheese that I did not enjoy. The fries were immaculate though. My dino rib came with coffee seasoning or something like that and i just wanted some more umph on it. To me it wasn’t that well seasoned in terms of flavor. In addition it came with the bone already off which made me think that it might have been reheated or something because the meat on the bone itself was already dry, and I just don’t know why anyone would deprive me of a satisfaction of making that meat fall of the bone. The brisket was really good and we enjoyed it. Overall the place has good music and vibe, the service seems a bit slow especially when there were 3-4 groups of people, one of them being us. But if you haven’t tried BBQ this could be a decent first place to start. It’s not bad, just needs some improvement.

Food was really good. The cranberry BBQ sauce has a great balance of flavors. The crispy potatos, mashed potatoes and brisket were delicious. The only thing i say wasnt great were the wings. I had dry rub they were salty and I was expecting a smokey flavor. But definately worth a visit. Plus they have the best ginger beer ever!

We flew in from the UK, landed at 12pm and we’re at the Reunion by 2pm, having researched it online before heading to Boston.
Can honestly say it’s the BEST introduction to Boston we could have hoped for. James is friendly and chatty but not at all intrusive. We knew what we were going to order before we entered, and my daughter and I had decided to order a few items from the lunch menu deal. Whilst waiting for our order, the playlist ROCKS, and the ambience is chill, relaxed.
Absolutely brilliant! Brisket with Mac and cheese and the potato bites, pulled chicken with salad and slaw, and two soft drinks – came up to less than $40!
So very happy we chose Reunion as our first stop for our week in Massachusetts. Thank you again, James!

Great service, very attentive and friendly staff. I’m a bbq fanatic and I am very fussy when it comes to bbq. The meats have good flavor. There are many options for sides and the food is good overall. Great drink options as well!

I had a great experience at this BBQ place. The food was flavorful, well-cooked, and served fresh. The meats were juicy and had a nice smoky taste, and the sides paired really well with the main dishes.

Very friendly staff and timely service. The portion size could’ve been a bit bigger but this is compensated for by the very reasonable price. I had a pulled pork sandwich and it was wonderful. They even have custom barbecue sauces. I recommend eating here!

Dropped in here with family while at the Revolution (walking distance). 5:30pm. Deadly quiet restaurant, no one table. Based on that, we were not expecting much. Tried the table top BBQ sauces though, and our hopes rose. Wow. Great, especially the habanero. Good craft beers on tap too, big pints at good prices. Hopes rising. The food came, and we were delighted. The brisket was super soft and moist. Side dishes were excellent. Mac & Cheese good, as were the chicken tenders. We ordered several more rounds of beers, and more brisket and sides. Then, the biscuits came out and Wham! What a star the biscuits are – made daily, super soft and super tasty. All in all? An excellent feed in Boston for 4 for $150.
Edit: 2nd time. At the bar. Ask for James, super cool bro and hard working. On point. He runs the show easily. Without him, this is not a bar. or restaurant.

Went here for lunch with 2 friends. The atmosphere and service was great, unexpectedly it’s a sports bar kind of vibe. The BBQ was very plentiful for the price but mediocre. Everything else very good! You can think of it as a mediocre barbecue place or an awesome bar where you can also eat BBQ .

I’ve been to Reunion BBQ Boston twice now, and both times I had the pleasure of being served by Gus—hands down one of the best servers/bartenders I’ve come across. His service was top-notch, and he really knows his stuff, especially when it comes to the Whiskey Flight. His knowledge and recommendations were much appreciated and really added to the experience.
The food here is just as impressive. The biscuit and gravy? Absolutely mouthwatering. The brisket was *oh so tender*—melts-in-your-mouth kind of good. I had the **chicken & waffle**; while the waffle was a bit thicker than I usually prefer, I still finished it, which says a lot!
To top it all off, the banana pudding was the perfect ending—just the right size and sweet enough to finish the meal without feeling overstuffed.
All in all, this place is a gem. Great vibes, amazing food, excellent service. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the city—assuming I can find parking! Definitely recommend!

Visited for the first time and had a great experience. The food came out quickly and was delicious. Portions were a little on the smaller side, but everything was flavorful and well prepared. The music created a really nice vibe. Ree was our server and she was friendly, attentive, and very helpful. I’d definitely come back.
