Great food at an affordable price. Usually a nice, calm and quiet place. However, I have to say that there one waitress that is constantly whistling just as loud as can be and it’s so unbelievably off putting. Genuinely nonstop and it gets really old really fast. Everyone, including other staff seems to keep staring hoping it will stop, but she’s oblivious to it. I love coming here for breakfast but this whistling is driving me crazy

The Coney Island restaurant on the outskirts of Port Huron on M-25 in Lakeport has been around for more than a decade, and the restaurant is still going strong. The restaurant offers a delicious menu of food from Coney Dogs and gyros to Philly steaks, fish and chips, and even more delicious food options!
The service is good, though it’s a little more complicated with the atmosphere being quiet compared to other restaurants in the area. Given we went for dinner on a Friday evening, I understand.

Righty Tighty
Stopped in at noon on a Sunday. We sat down immediately, and the waitress took our drink order right away. She took our food order a few minutes later. Then we waited! 45 minutes. We realize it was Sunday and a busy time, so we just waited patiently. Servers kept a positive attitude, and that helped. Cooks had tons of tickets you could see, so you almost felt bad. The fact that some orders would go to tables that arrived after we ordered wasn’t good business, though. The table next to us with 2 people, just like we had, was finished eating when we got our food. We had already ordered when they sat down. Anyway, the food was delicious and hot once it did arrive.

Last time I had a steak omelet, it was delicious with plenty of lean meat. This time, the omelet stake had more gristle and fat with hardly any lean meat. It did not feel like I was eating a stake, but cut-offs.

Plenty busy on a St Patrick’s day Sunday. The two waitresses still worked the tables quickly. My cups of coffee and water were never empty unless I declined. Personable friendly service is a bonus that I don’t expect but the staff deliver here even with many customers. The cook actually provided me with “extra extra crispy hash browns” I requested as Big George’s cook was one of the few that made my request a reality. Solid outcome for what I expected to be a run of the mill greasy spoon.

Had the pleasure of having breakfast and it had to rank with the BEST I’ve ever had!! Blueberry pancakes, sausage links, and scrambled eggs, all done perfectly. Would definitely be back!! The young lady serving was very nice and helpful. She was waiting to hear if she was going to have a boy or girl grandchild. Congrats on a baby boy !!!!

The food is amazing. We always get our food to go but I still get great service. I always go in to order. They offer a coffee or pop. We have had both breakfast and dinner food never a disappointment great service good food. When you go you get your moneys worth.
