⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Rarely give out 5 stars, but this crew EARNED it!
I’m usually a tough critic when it comes to fast food, but today was a complete masterclass in customer service. There were only two people working—Tara and the cook—and they absolutely rocked it.
The Highlights:
The Service: Tara has personality for days! She is hilarious, high-energy, and went out of her way to make me feel like the only person in the building.
The Food: Despite being a two-person crew, the food was piping hot and fresh. No corners were cut here.
The “Undercover Boss” Factor: If the CEO is watching, they need to get down here and follow Tara around. This is exactly the kind of talent and work ethic companies dream of having.
Management, you have a total rockstar on your hands. I hope someone important sees this because Tara (and her partner in the kitchen) deserve a massive shoutout!

Every time I go here after receiving and paying on the app they end up not having several things. Then they substitute without a change in price. That could be good except for what I ordered cost more than the replacement. Oh, the mashed potatoes and gravy they didn’t have then all of a sudden did turned out to be the beans and rice put on the mashed potatoes. Certainly different and not what I ordered. No bone in wings, just boneless which aren’t wings. No sweet or unsweet tea. I can’t remember what else. It’s now just a bit of a joke to order and see what they are out of at this point. At least the employees sort of try – but not too much. I’m sure they are probably tired of being out and having to tell customers too. BTW – we need straws and utensils for our food and no, I ordered for drive thru, I don’t want to come inside so I can get whatever food is available. It’s 7pm not closing time.

8640 Youree drive Shreveport La 71115, This is the worst popeyes I have ever encountered. The managers are just as unprofessional than the employees. There isn’t any leadership or direction. There are very long lines in the lobby and the drive thru. The employees are complaining to each other about coworkers, waiting on customers while texting on their cell phone. No one knows who is waiting on what customer, no one knows who has been waited on. Family members coming to the lobby getting free food while paying customers are waiting in line. Changing up the menu when based on the customers wants, one day you can get this, on a different day we have to stick to policy. Customers walking out because of a hostile eating environment. customers walking out because staff forgot their orders after customers has been waiting over a long period of time. Managers sitting in the lobby going back in forth with employees behind the counter. Employees complaining about not wanting to be at work while the customers are waiting in line. Lobby nasty, food on the floor, restrooms not clean. Instead of pulling the associate to the side while customer is at the front counter, manager is using unprofessional words and language toward employees. This location could do a lot more in profit if the staff (managers / employees) care and had pride. Store 8640 Youree Dr Shreveport. I WILL NEVER RETURN; I ATE THERE TWICE A WEEK FOR LUNCH. I was so sick, but I got enough strength to drag myself out of bed and head to Popeyes just to get a Sprite to help with my nausea. When I got it, it was so watered down it tasted like straight seltzer water. Super disappointed — especially when you’re not feeling well and just needed something simple done right.
I was really disappointed — especially because this is one of my favorite restaurants. I expected better.

The chicken stripes we razor thin, subpar quality (chicken precooked and not fresh) for the name brand and with a drink almost 20$. Not very good experience and over hyped under delivered. No napkins stocked for dine in was a bad sign.

Nasty restaurant, rude unprofessional mangers and employee’s. They need to close the whole store and clean, clean , clean. Customer service is horrible at this place of business.. I also have a video of the employee standing around doing nothing while the restaurant is nasty. They should be cleaning when it’s slow. Got my order wrong a couple times already but I believe the biggest offense here is 9 out of 10 times they ask you to park and you’ll have to wait 5min+ for food. If you’re not capable of providing drive-through service then don’t have a drive-through. In the image I’ve been waiting, the white car been waiting for longer than I, and the one at the window ended up waiting too.
