Omg its been awhile since we’ve had a meal that was so good from start to finish. Everything was amazing and cooked so well. And great value for money too!
Highly recommend the onion rings and chicken and waffles

Awesome little spot in goose hollow. Wouldn’t quite call it an Irish Pub, but its reaaal close. Great food in my experience, with friendly bartenders and a cozy vibe.
Actually the best shepards pie ive had, and it was almost enough to feed 2!

I saw a lot of reviews raving about the chicken and waffles. I can confirm that those reviews weren’t kidding. This is easily the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. The chicken is so crispy, the flavor of the batter is on point and the waffle was fluffy and flavourful.

Omg the best chicken on a chicken and waffle dish my partner and I have ever gotten. We’ve been on a chicken and waffle kick and have been determined to try all the places that offer it out here in Portland. We love the service and would come back just for the chicken. The waffles were perfect! The waffles had an amazing airy crispy texture. I can’t wait to come back here and try something different. Our waitress who was also the bartender was phenomenal. Great conversationalist and always checking on us. Highly recommend this hole in the wall. Only downside is trying to find available parking. ️

This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. The service and atmosphere of the Leaky Roof was spectacular… my server McKenna was amazing, and taking care of everyone. I ordered the dry cider with a bowl of the stew and it was amazing. 10/10 recommend stopping in either for drinks or food.

We went there based on the reviews and indeed they maintained and surpassed our expectations. Very nice and cozy place. Amazing drinks and delicious food. A must visit place. I dunno the guys name in the picture, he works at the bar and serves food as well. Amazing guy. Very polite, simple and showed very good hospitality.

The **luck of the Irish** is alive and well at The Leaky Roof Pub! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles, hearty laughter, and a vibe that feels like a neighborhood hug. The staff are **incredibly friendly and fun**, making you feel like a regular even on your first visit.
Now let’s talk about the **foodgasm** that awaits—this place is a hidden gem for comfort food lovers. The **fried chicken dinner** was crispy, juicy perfection. The **chicken sandwich**? Bold, flavorful, and stacked just right. The **Reuben** was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, with just the right balance of tang and richness. And yes, I came back for the **chicken and waffles**—and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
Whether you’re there for the food, the drinks, or the craic (that’s Irish for good times), The Leaky Roof delivers a cozy, spirited experience that keeps you coming back. Sláinte!

Stumbled into the Leak Roof on my first couple of hours in Portland and I’m glad I did! The bartender was friendly and got me a delicious Moscow Mule right away. She recommended the Reuben and it was fantastic. Solid food and good prices. The space is a cozy tavern vibe and everyone was enjoying themselves. Keep up the great work, y’all!

I loved it!!! I came in and thought “what a hole in the wall” but!!! Then the sun hit just right, the proprietor came over and kindly broth drinks and menu, the food was DELICIOUS!!! I mean it’s one of those “let’s make it a tradition” places! Great!

Great little neighborhood pub with great service and even better food. We were too hungry to stop and take pictures but the corned beef hash was delish! There were several other items on the menu we wanted to try. It was a tough decision so we just promised ourselves we’d come back to try them all.
