We enjoyed our flat grilled burgers. Although, I was hankering for a grilled burger, this did not disappoint! It was juicy and tasty! The fries were seasoned with a sort of sweet and salty mess, tasty! The chili fries were a large portion with chili and cheese sauce on every fry! It’s a quaint restaurant with an upstairs and patio for dining. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. And also had a cute eyeshadow thing going on☺️.

Don’t let the photos fool you. These are not the most photogenic burgers. And who cares? They tasted great! A burger that was overlapping the bun, always good. Good flavor. Tots & fried pickles, mmmmm.

I know it’s a burger place, and they are delicious and come in many varieties, but the tater tots and fried pickles were amazing! We had leftovers which we reheated awkwardly 2 days later in a hotel and we still liked them. They are not far off 95 and offer a far superior meal and experience than some chain. The staff were very cool, friendly and they seemed to appreciate our compliments on the food. We also happened to talk to the owner who seemed as concerned about building his staff up as his business, very team oriented. We are planning a stop on our way back home if it works out in timing, they are that good.

These are frozen patties. The Cary Town location burgers are made of ground beef & I tried the lakeside location, I was very disappointed. I’d rather eat Wendy’s. I personally will never be back here. I’m kind of confused why they are so expensive when the burger is not even a real burger. Smh

These folks are usually awesome – maybe tonight was an off night. The cashier knew nothing about the beers on tap, and none of the employees knew the identity of one of the beers. I tasted three of them, and all of them were flat. We also saw a special on the blackboard, “Mac-n-cheese bites,” and decided to order one of those. It wasn’t until after we paid that we learned that it was the 3rd-most expensive item in the store at $12.50!!! I worked in food service for 20 years and know that sometimes you have a bad night. Just putting this out there for management. Y’all are good eats – but seriously, this basket is overpriced.

This place is nice and intimate. I had the impossible vegan burger with sweet potato fries which was delicious. The wait wasn’t long and the food was nice and hot. The prices aren’t bad and the staff was very hospitable especially Jay, if I’m ever in Virginia again I will make it a priority to make this on of my stops.

This place has become one of those RVA memes that is overhyped, overpriced and underwhelming. The crazy thing is the food is pretty decent. I had the Kicker Burger this visit and it was tasty, but it’s half the size of somewhere like Five Guys. My partner had the Squirrel Burger and it was dry and unflavorful.
Price is ridiculous. We had 2 burgers and a basket of fries and paid ~$50. I can’t justify those prices for the food we got.

Their fries come in numbers that match the fibonacci sequence and wind came from the floor, idk why but the employees knew what i was gonna order before i ordered it, and when i tried to leave it brought me back to the register and i had to jump through the window to leave. 5/5 stars, would recommend.
