This Japanese buffet is way too cheap —
so no sashimi here
I accidentally ordered too many rolls…
Now I’m sitting here with a food baby
so full I can barely breathe.
But OMG — the egg drop soup was heavenly.
Warm, savory, pure comfort in a bowl ✨
The tempura?
So crispy that my soul left my body with the first bite
And the Korean-style squid salad —
that gochujang flavor was so authentic
every Korean here would feel like they’re back home
✨ Service Review — The Angel of the Buffet
And the most important part —
the waitress.
I absolutely adore her.
So warm, so patient,
with an angelic smile that could heal the world ✨
She was so gentle… so incredibly gentle
that a tiny part of me was like:
“Mommy???”
(okay sorry but she was THAT comforting)
I truly hope she keeps her grace,
that her steps never get rushed,
and that people treat her with the respect she deserves.
Because someone that kind,
that soft,
is rare —
and should be cherished. ✨

I have heard lots of good things about this resturant and wanted to try it. It was a little disappointing to get home and realize they counted imitation crab meat as part of a sashimi plate. Historically, I have not had those as part of a sashimi order from elsewhere before. And for $40, I would expect a better range on the plate.
We also order the gyoza and beef Bulogi and it was delicous, and would recommend.

Misoya is easily one of the most consistent spots in Regina if you’re trying to get a massive spread without sacrificing quality. Unlike those “quantity over everything” buffets, their all-you-can-eat menu is made-to-order, so the sushi actually tastes fresh and the Korean dishes like the Bulgogi and Spicy Squid come out hot and flavorful. The vibe is low-key but solid, especially if you grab one of the traditional sunken-floor tables where you kick off your shoes. It’s a bit pricier than your average joint, and the service can get a little hectic when the room is packed, but for the freshness and the variety you’re getting, it’s a top-tier choice for a heavy meal.

I and my mother wanted to check this restaurant out because of a positive Facebook post I saw on Regina Rant & Rave OG group. This restaurant is soooo tiny but cute and cozy, plus their service are amazing and fast! My mother love their miso soup that she ate right away. We also ordered a platter of sushi we likes…omg soooo delicious! Everything’s looking good and hella fresh! We will come back for sure! ❤️

Tremendous decline in quantity per order and quality. I’ve been coming here periodically for 20 years.
Rice was undercooked in nigiri and rolls. Dragon roll only had two pieces of unagi on it. Rainbow roll only had tuna and salmon. Really enjoyed the spicy Korean squid appetizer and seaweed appy. As per usual this restaurant doesn’t fill the entire order. I am writing this review in hopes that this restaurant owner will up their quality to try and leave customers impressed.

Miso Ya offers tasty Japanese and Korean food. The sushi is fresh, and the Korean dishes are flavorful. Portions are small, so you can try different items. Prices are fair, and the service is friendly. It’s a great spot for a casual meal if you enjoy both cuisines.

I was in Regina and ordered the sashimi twice from them through Uber Eats and I was very pleased with portion sizes and freshness on both occasions. Honestly, I was not expecting to find such fresh slices of salmon in Regina, so I would love to go back and sit down at their restaurant next time I an in town!

In town for a business meeting. Found this on Google map. Priced reasonable for all you can eat sushi. I had my full. The portion is not as big as I like but being all you can eat, I can understand that. Staff was attentive and helpful. I was there on the Halloween and a Friday night so it wasn’t that busy. I will go again if the timing works out.

Awesome place, delicious menu options. Lots of vegetarian things and the menu was easy to read. If you like bean curd this is the place! There aren’t many spots that offer that anymore so I was quite elated when I saw that on the menu. 5/5 would go again.
Came back again because I was in Regina. Totally worth the stop. If you’re a vegetarian it’s one of the best places because they separate the meat and veggie options. I will come back again! Service was also super nice and sweet
