We went on a Tuesday evening, it was still busy from a Christmas party just ending and a retirement party just beginning. There were plenty of seats.
I ordered the Yardery Burger: a double smash burger stacked with American cheese, candied bacon, crispy onions, and their Yardery sauce. It was excellent: savory, messy in the best way, and full of flavor. My wife got the Avocado Tacos, which come with crispy avocado, black beans, cheddar jack, pico de gallo, cilantro ranch, and she added smoked chicken. Great texture, generous portion, and really well balanced.
We both got fries for our sides, and according to my wife, they’re the best fries in Sanford.
One small drawback: beers are served in plastic cups. Given how family-friendly the space is and how many toddlers run around the outdoor yard it actually makes sense. Broken glass would be a disaster out there.
The staff was friendly and attentive. The outdoor yard setup makes it easy to relax and play cards.
Highly recommend, especially if you’re looking for a fun, social place with great food and a relaxed atmosphere.

We recently had our welcome party for our wedding weekend at The Yardery and it was absolutely amazing. The weather was not the best, and the power went out for a little bit when a transformer blew. However, Claudia and her team did absolutely everything to keep us having a good time. I was a little nervous about seeing the weather predictions that morning as it is an all outdoor space, but she assured us whatever the weather, we would have a great time, and she was absolutely right. Claudia was great at communicating everything with my parents who helped put on the event. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was amazing, and everyone had a great time. A few of our guests that arrived during the blackout just thought it was the atmosphere we were going for. We will definitely be returning just to grab food on a regular night and would highly recommend anyone to have their events there! It was such a fun place to kick off our wedding weekend.

My wife and I love to visit when the weather is nice! The pulled pork is great and the hot honey chicken is to die for. Downstairs has a great vibe, but our favorite is to sit upstairs – ask for Courtney! She has such a positive vibe and couldn’t ask for a better server/bartender.

We had my son’s rehearsal dinner at the Yardery. The staff was so accommodating to the group. The food was excellent and the bartenders efficient and friendly. I was asked what I needed so many times throughout the evening, but they were always ahead of me. An outstanding place for an event or to just hang out! Claudia is the best!

We had a great time at The Yardery Friday night!!! We are seniors, but it was so nice to see young families, and all the children playing, and so happy!!! The Yardery burger and fries came out super hot and delicious!!! Their scratch-made burger sauce was so fresh and tasty! The fries were the best I’ve had in a long time, and even their ketchup was sweet, fresh and tasty!!!! It was a lovely experience!

We were there as a “catered” group to celbrate a baby shower. It was like having an outdoor picnic in your yard with tables, a tire-in-a tree swing, games, ping pong tables, lots of room for kids to play and accomodate your dog. We tasted chicken wings, pepperoni pizza (flat bread?), lettuce, salad, baked beans, cauliflower, quesadillas, fried chicken, bacon cheese burgers. The best part was the staff who were very accomodating to provide for our individual requests. They did their best to give us a most welcome and enjoyable afternoon. It was a fun time for all.

From the very beginning, the planning process was seamless—Jackie was an absolute pleasure to work with, making sure every detail was covered. They were incredibly accommodating of our son’s allergies, ensuring his safety while still delivering a delicious experience for everyone.
During the event, Claudia, the manager, frequently checked in to ensure everything was running smoothly and was very thorough with our food order. Our server, Gina, was friendly and attentive throughout the party, despite handling our large group. The food was excellent—our guests loved the appetizer quesadillas, burgers, wings, and chicken sliders.
The atmosphere at Yardery is always upbeat, with plenty of space for kids to run around and play, making it the perfect venue for a celebration. All our guests were very impressed and are already looking forward to returning. We couldn’t be more thankful for the incredible service and experience.
