Stopped here for a light lunch with the kids. Tio’s did not disappoint. Salsa, guac, and queso were amazing. Kids lunch portions were on point. Perfect size for our 5 and 3 year olds. My wife’s nachos were delicious and a hefty portion. My lettuce wrapped tacos were meh. Service was excellent. Would go back.

I’m traveling for work this week and stopped at Tio’s for lunch. Got the “make your own” tacos. One with shredded chicken, Americano style; one with the key lime chicken, island style. Chips and queso were extra, but worth it. Friendly staff, nice place. I would come back, I’d give it a 4.5, if that were and option.

Our server was fabulous. Her recommendations was perfect. The crispy plantains were so good. I got the birria burrito and I truly enjoyed every bite. We would recommend you try this Mexican restaurant the next time you’re in Hilton Head.

Giving it five stars for the best bartender! We literally go there only for Dee Who makes the best top shelf margaritas! We peak our head in the door and if she is not there, we walk away. I’m sure the food is wonderful as we have had a pretty good experience experiences, but drink drinks it’s all her!

Not much to explain. No shrimp, no dessert. We didn’t like the service and the food. Fish tacos were very poor and rice flavorless. Im very disappointed and will never come back. It’s not what we expected.

Food was delicious. Service was ok. We ordered a bottle of wine and the waitress brought the bottle and put it on the table unopened. We had to chase her down to open it. She didn’t know the opener worked and had to seek help. Eventually the staff as a collective figured out how to open the wine bottle. Once that was settled, we enjoyed a meal that was delicious. It was way too expensive though for the level of food and service. We won’t be going back. But if you want great, overpriced Mexican food with friendly service that lacks in the knowledge how to serve wine and open the bottle, go for it.

This was my first time having fried plantains. They were recommended by our server, Jessy. Jessy was a big help with helping with food choices. The food and service were both great!

Walked in and were not greeted. Found a table and waited 10 min to have someone stop by and check on us. Once the bartender finally came to us she threw the menu at us and walked away and didn’t let us know that happy hour wasn’t apart of the table that was basically attached to the bar. It seemed like she didn’t wanna serve us from the beginning . Really disappointed in the experience we had today. We highly recommend the Bluffton location more welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

We went there by bike for early dinner, got nice bar seats on the corner. Tios has a really good Happy Hour, with great drink specials as well as food specials, for drinks and apps we went with the House Margaritas, the HH Nachos, an Empanada (beef), and shared the Enchilada dinner. I did not take pictures of the Nachos and Enchiladas but they were both better than I expected. The Margaritas came out and were pink! Our heads tilted as we looked at the bartender and she replied, “pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month”. Very nice touch and they tasted just like a regular margarita, how they made it pink was a secret. The empanada, that was a hidden little gem of a treat, the crust was pretty amazing and complimented the beef filling, it came with a side of dipping sauce and pico de gallo. Definitely going back again soon for HH and early dinner. Dee, the bartender was constantly smiling, attentive, personable… an excellent bartender!
