We were in search of a good lunch and the rain was looking close so we opted for Babcock & Miles Market. They have a retail side that we didn’t explore but it looked like it covered the basics plus some. They have indoor seating, outdoor seating (with heaters) and a cool looking lounge area outside and down some steps

The food was great. They had a nice variety of options for most customers. The service was attentive but not oppressive. Everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked right

Give us another rainy day and we would definitely go back for another take at the menu

This is my mom’s favorite store in Montana. We stop here every time we are in Red Lodge and get some cheese, salami, and bread. They are always friendly and helpful . We look forward to our annual visit!

Red Lodge is so lucky to have the Babcock and Mile’s Cafe and wine bar. The very best coffee, great people and interesting food. The terrace is a delight. And if all that is not enough the wine selection is comparable or better than many big city stores. I suggest you grab a coffee and browse the wine store as in a library. But set aside a while for it.

The jewel in the crown that is Red Lodge! B&M adds so much to our town – great coffee, beautiful wine and cheese, and now with full meals, too! Civilized, sophisticated, relaxed, and run by the nicest people – we appreciate you!

We had dinner here. Wife’s Caesar Salad was an A+. My Italian Salad was an A-. It could have used more dressing, but all the ingredients were fresh. Excellent service.

We loved our lunch there today and found the owners and staff extremely nice, welcoming and helpful! I had the flying pig sandwich and it reminded me of the Jamon and queso sandwiches I have eaten in Spain. The baguette was so fresh and delicious and the Pinot Gris very yummy. And I can’t say enough about their wine/gourmet kitchen shop next door!! Prices were very fair as well. Will definitely return!!

Babcock & Miles is situated nicely behind Pride Park where you can enjoy the best tasting coffee and freshly made sandwiches on their patio. Try their pastrami on rye, you won’t regret it. I’m consistently approached by their friendly and knowledgeable staff who create a great atmosphere to shop from their wide selection of wines, regional craft brews, and fine foods. They even carry flavorful tomahawk steaks from a local ranch!
