First, props to their social media marketing for making me aware that this place exists.

Upon entering QLQ, I was heartily greeted in Spanish. I began to worry that there’d be a language barrier since my Spanish is no bueno, but the woman behind the counter spoke to me in English. The woman smiled non-stop and patiently answered my questions and explained what the different meat and drink options were.

I chose a stewed chicken dish with rice and peas. The meal also came with sweet plantains and potato salad. For my drink I chose a bottle of pineapple coconut juice. Super sweet and provided a nice balance to the slightly salty (but not too salty) food.

Before I could pay, the woman told me to sit down and eat while the food was hot. They really treat you like family here.

The meal came to $17 which is on the higher end of lunch pricing.

Parking isn’t an issue. The interior is modern and nicely themed with their blue and yellow pattern. The only downside was that it was extremely warm inside. I believe they’re currently in their soft reopening phase. I’ll definitely be returning.

One of the best Dominican places on Long Island! Mery greeted us with such happiness and joy it’s impossible not to smile around her. Her customer service is amazing. When we told her we do not eat meat, she offered us everything from salad, to Eggplant, to Okra, to Sardines. She also gave a deliciously sized portions of everything we asked for and made sure to offer us plenty of sides. She even offered us jugos naturales which are my favorite and the chinola one was out of this world. She also said for Semana Santa you can order habichuelas con dulce to go for those that celebrate! Also, for all three of us the price was dirt cheap so I highly recommend this place!

Excellent spot for some Dominican food. Planned on taking pics to leave a review just because the owner and staff was so nice. But once I dug in I completely forgot to get a picture because I just kept eating. She told us she doesn’t use grease to cook the food, and you can tell. It tastes so fresh and good. Will be going on the morning for breakfast while we are in town visiting.

If you’re looking for a place that serves delicious food with exceptional service, you must check out Que lo Que Dominican restaurant in Lindenhurst!

My taste buds went on a wild adventure today when my family and I stumbled upon a hidden gem of a Dominican restaurant on Long Island (which is incredibly difficult to find such authenticity in flavor and service). The food was enjoyable – every bite was bursting with succulent meat and flavorful rice and beans. The portions were generous, and the prices were definitely worth it for the quality of the food we received.

But what really made our day was the staff – they felt like family! As though we were at my Tia’s house, being served a plate of food while catching up on life, family, and healthy cooking tips. They were friendly and attentive and went out of their way to ensure our satisfaction with the meal.

We were absolutely delighted by the gracious hostess/owner. She seemed to know exactly what dishes would suit our tastes and generously piled our plates high. The refreshing country club she provided was perfectly chilled and hit the spot. To top it all off, she even sent us on our way with a delicious Cafecito straight from the greca.

We couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience.
