NOIO completely blew us away. The sushi was phenomenal, some of the best toro we’ve had, and every dish was beautifully presented. You can tell there’s real care behind the food.

What made the night truly special, though, was the service. Jeremiah took such great care of us. We’ve been lucky enough to eat at several Michelin-star restaurants, and the service here was genuinely on that level, if not better in some ways.

Highly recommend this place, both for the food and the service!

I’m beyond impressed with this restaurant! The food was absolutely amazing, and I want to give a special shout-out to our server. I didn’t catch his name, but he was a tall Caucasian man working on 11/30/25 at around 8:30 PM. He was incredibly friendly and walked us through the entire menu.
I don’t usually write reviews, but we’re on our honeymoon and chose this place for our special dinner — and it truly exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible, and the staff made the experience even better. If we ever find ourselves back on the Big Island, we will definitely be returning!

Noio was one of the best dining experiences I had while visiting Hawaii. The sushi is offered in a fairly traditional Japanese style, which is unusual but very delightful, and offered a unique and delicious experience. The sushi is clearly fresh and high quality and left me craving more.

The price is quite high but worth it and the view and ambiance of the ocean from the second floor of the Four Seasons Resort is amazing. If you’re visiting Kona and willing to splurge a bit on excellent sushi, Noio will definitely appeal to you.

Incredibly creative dishes and presentation. Service was top-notch and the views and atmosphere are amazing. This is a very upscale Hawaiian sushi experience.

By far the best restaurant in Big Island. Flawless service (our waiter Maverick was 10/10!) and unique, delicious food. Absolutely a must try.

Inside four seasons hotel! Newly renovated reopened! Ulu restaurant on the ground floor. Good sushi! Fresh fish! However the serving sequence is not quite right! Should serve sashimi then sushi then hot food! All mixed up tonight . Can try

We stayed at the resort in October of this year for our honeymoon and had dinner here more than once. Our last night on the island we ate here and it was hands down the best dining experience my wife and I have ever had. Krishni (Hope I’m spelling that right) and Chloe and the entire staff were tremendous. They curated a meal for us that was beautiful and absolutely delicious. Every bite was outstanding, the drinks were perfect and we could barely finish all they brought out. The views are also magical, being on the balcony with the ocean waves crashing in front of you. Must go here if you’re on the Big Island.

We had a date dinner at the place. This si supposedly the best Japanese inspired restaurant on the island. Staff was attentive and friendly but started the dinner to literally pour a BOWL of soya sauce in front of us. I have never seen being served a bowl od soya sauce in sushi restaurant. The waitress explained that ” some people like more soya sauce!!!”
That is such faux pas I have never seen before.
On the other hand the wagyu beef was out of this world and probably the best one we had.
Would be five star but that was such a blunder.

Such a beautiful restaurant and location. But what made this dinner so special is the staff. They truly went above and beyond to make the night special for us from the simplest of details to even a surprise dessert. Would highly recommend. It’s expensive but worth the cost! The chocolate banana dessert was to die for! If you like banana, chocolate and caramel, you definitely need to order it.
