North Fork is a northwest outdoor-inspired restaurant focused on ingredients from local farms and Oregon suppliers. From the reclaimed fir that makes up our bar to the garnishes in our cocktails, sourcing our products locally provides our guests with a high quality farm-to-fork experience. Our Oregon grassfed beef, wild seafood from Oregon’s rivers and coast, award-winning Oregon beers and a small vineyard wine list are just a few ways we honor the bounty Oregon has to offer. Our goal is to be the go-to restaurant for anyone wanting to experience the flavors and beauty of Oregon, and where locals want to belly up.

UPDATE: Went back for my anniversary, and dinner was also a great experience! Service, drinks, and food were all rapid and smooth. I found some of the dinner items lacking compared to the rest of the dishes, but overall, still a great eat. Specifically, the tacos and fries were pretty standard, so they paled compared to the rest of the food which was so flavorful. Portions were reasonable for the price!
We came here for my husband’s birthday dinner and he was served burnt wings. I really honestly cannot believe these wings were even brought to the table. My son (age 4) was served a burger that was undercooked and pink in the middle. The frickles that we ordered and have ordered for years, were very obviously just frozen and refried. We came here in June last year and the food was great as always. Unfortunately after this visit? We won’t be back. If I want freezer food, I’ll just stay home.
Granted it was parents weekend at UofO so things were busy. Although there were open tables. We were told on the phone prior to arriving there was no wait for a table. Upon arrival 12 minutes later (at roughly 10:30) we were told there was no availability and they would seat us when a table opened. (Several tables were open with no one at them for 45 minutes.) It took 36 minutes for us to be seated, 7 minutes to even be addressed (we had to flag someone down), and we waited 50 minutes for food! My wife and daughter went across the street to get toast, ate, came back, and food still did not arrive.
My Chilaquiles was a nice portion and tasted good, both my wife and daughter ordered the Avocado Toast which resembled an appetizer. It looked like it had a spoonful of avocado on toast points, the spring greens, as seen on their website, was actually parsley!
I gave 2 stars for friendliness of the staff and the manager was nice and took both Avocado dishes off our bill.
Final Thoughts: the kitchen seemed understaffed, the reservation system appeared to be a challenge. DO NOT walk in! Make a reservation or Do not go! Bar is for 21 and over ONLY!
I’m serious. This is a donut emergency.
North Fork in Eugene serves complimentary cinnamon sugar donuts with a strawberry coulis at brunch. And if you don’t try them before they realize they can charge $8,000 for these things, you are out of your donut loving mind.
First of all, our waitress was an absolute angel. She offered to bring us more donuts. I watched her deliver them to other tables and saw pure joy spread across people’s faces. The first bite, the steam, the little eyebrow lift of happiness, the slow chew that says, “Oh my gosh, what is this magic?” You could feel the love from across the restaurant.
Here’s what we ordered:
• Brunch burger (medium)
• Kids breakfast with two extra eggs (over medium)
• Shrimp and grits
To drink, just a vanilla latte. Huge, fragrant, beautiful, and delicious.
The kids breakfast was perfect. It comes with one egg, but I got extra for sharing, which was unnecessary because the portion was spot on for my five year old. She demolished the eggs but couldn’t finish the potatoes, bacon, or toast.
The brunch burger was good. My husband wanted a little more salt and there wasn’t any on the table, but the fries were crispy and everything hit the spot.
The shrimp and grits with sausage? Spicy, creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious. Perfect if you’re hungry or want to share.
10/10 recommend North Fork for brunch.
The donuts alone are worth the trip.
To the person who made the donuts and had the idea to make them complimentary…I’m naked under these clothes. *exaggerated wink*
We got sat pretty quickly at a center table but then was served warm tap water with no ice and no lemon. Our server, Azalea, was pleasant and asked us about drinks and let us know we had about 2 minutes left of happy hour. I said that’s fine but it was our first time there. We ordered 2 cocktails and a small plate of truffle fries for an appetizer. (Now those were great) My partner asked what the “specials consisted of” and she was knowledgeable about them and the prices. I had wanted the surf and turf and ordered it medium rare like I always do, and since NOTHING else came with it, I ordered a side of mashed potatoes. My partner ordered the special pasta of the night and added chicken ( She wasn’t told that it was going to be a blackened chicken). When the food came, I had asked for steak sauce of any sort and was informed that they do not carry any in-house….I’m sorry…what?!? Ok, I will make due. I cut open my steak, and it’s RARE, but at this moment, waiting almost 30 minutes after our appetizer, I was hungry and not going to wait any longer for my food to sit. The potatoes were bland, but the 5 shrimp that they put on the plate with some green sauce on it was okay. Everything had a smokey taste to it like it was sitting in a grill overnight.
Oh and if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to actually hear and talk to your friends or family…not the place. The music was loud.
