Sushi was not great. Tried 4 rolls and Unfortunately It was level grocery store. Server young lady was so sweet and charming. She provided awesome service.
The red bean paste sesame buns were very good. Pork buns were sandwiches with lettuce, sauce and pork. The pork wasn’t warm. Atmosphere is cool and clean. The other staff weren’t friendly and apparently don’t know English so might be why they are that way. Its odd.
Anyway we might go back to try other menu items. Maybe…

Walking in the front door this place smelled good. Looking around returned an immediate “clean place” feeling for both of us. Our service at the bar was fast and friendly. The Ramen was the star of the show, pictured here. Next to us they had ordered sushi with what looked like dry ice in a mini teapot that was an amazing presentation! We will definitely return and try other dishes. Its one of our new go to places!

First time here and everything was amazing! I did not include a picture of the jalapeño poppers because it was too good to take a picture of we ate it so fast! Also much spicier than we were expecting. We got four rolls and tried one of the ramen’s and it all tasted so so good!

Starting this review by saying we did a pickup order so taking some of that into account. Ordered 1 spicy ramen, a vegetable tempura, shrimp tempura, gyoza, spicy tuna roll and 2 bobas.
The gyoza was probably a 3, good crunch but pretty straightforward
Veggie tempura maybe a 2 – was hard to tell what the vegetables were and the breading was pretty soft
Spicy tuna roll, also a 3 – pretty standard
Shrimp tempura 4.5 – really good crunch, oil tastes fresh, had a good sauce on top
Boba – a 1 ; just lacked flavor, not exciting
Spicy ramen – definitely a 5, and would come back for. We added an extra marinated egg which was the move, jammy and full of flavor.
All-in, I think you have to come in and try it so everything is hot and fresh to get a better overall sense. But, it’s exciting to have another non-fast food restaurant in Kuna.

5 of us went to dinner. They brought only my chicken fried rice out & it was so hard I couldn’t eat it. Spoke to the waitress (she was hustling!!) She explained that the ‘usually cook was out of town, apologized & offered me chow mein. The sushi rolls came out next (about a 10 minute lag) followed by my husband’s ramen. At this point we had been there about 30 minutes. Chow mein came out fairly quickly & was delicious. Then we waited, waited some more & waited some more. My son & grandson had each offered beef fried rice….. it never showed. Our waitress kept going up to the window asking about it & apologizing to us, while the manager/ owner kept delivering fried rice plates to people that arrived after us. My husband & son left, went two doors down & had ice cream. When they got back, still no fried rice! At this point we had been there over an hour & I stopped the manager…. she said they were waiting on ‘fresh’ fried rice but couldn’t explain why several others got their fried rice! We were offered a 10% discount & took our fried rice to go….

Its was busy night. I love the food and service. Danny, my families server was on point. I had my son there he enjoyed his food and that is a difficult task. All in all round of applause. Had the sashimi it was fantastic. Thank you for a good meal.

Writing this to let others know, and hopefully see some change in the service. We were very excited to try Nara, told to sit down at any table, and were the only two people seated in the restaurant. We received water after maybe 5 minutes but no menu, waited another 5 minutes and I eventually just found the menus myself. In total we waited around 20 minutes and no service. If it was busy I would understand but we were the only guests.
There was one lady working who was working really hard on to go orders. But two men were mostly sitting around just watching. Really hoping next time the service is at least okay and we can try their food.

Great new sushi place in Kuna! The sushi was super fresh, beautiful presentation and very affordable priced. Also enjoyed Raman dish that was delicious. Large portion and affordable priced. This will be my new spot for great local Japanese food. Bravo NARA!!

I have been to other locations of Nara and usually super love it. This was my first time to the kuna location and we did takeout. The new added on space is beautiful and the hostess was super friendly & helpful. But the food was super disappointing! The rolls were small like the stuff at Ridleys and I think they forgot to add the vinegar & sugar to the rice. It was very plain and I would say worse than grocery store sushi. I’m really sad. I will give it another try but I hope they get their cooks trained better cause this was definitely not worth the price.
