I went to this location today to get my granddaughter a kids’ meal. On the app, I paid an extra $1.00 to have it made with cheese. When I got to the window, they handed me a bag and said, “Have a good day.” I told them I was still missing the kids’ meal. The employee apologized, went back, and brought it out.
When I got home, I realized there was no cheese—even though I paid for it. I know it’s just a dollar, but it feels like this McDonald’s can’t get their act together. It’s always something.
I called when I got home and asked to speak with a manager. A young-sounding girl told me the manager was too busy and to call back in 10 minutes. I said, “No shit, I just left there.” She told me there was no need to cuss at her. She was right—I shouldn’t have said that, even if it wasn’t directed at her personally. I’m sure she’s heard (and said) worse, but still…
The bigger issue is that every single visit here seems to turn into a hassle.

This McDonald’s in Beaufort has a sign that says they open at 7:00..yet the inside they refuse to open. They told me today that the drive thru is only open yet there was a customer inside…the excuse when I asked was if not enough people are inside, they won’t open the doors..just drive thru…well if the doors are locked nobody will come inside…the place needs to be fined for false advertising as they are not truly open when they say they are. I wanted to have breakfast with my 11 year old daughter before school. Instead we had to sit in the car. Not the end of the world but I am just big on “do what you say you are going to do.” If the sign says open at 7:00 and we go at 7:20..we should be able to sit inside.

it’s almost every time i go here, SOMETHING is wrong. i make sure to be super specific because if im not, they get simple things completely wrong lol. this morning i got a side of bacon, usually consisting of 2 FULL STRIPS of bacon. which the person taking the order clarified (with an attitude but whatever) then i open this… what even is this. it’s a single piece… ripped in half.. why am i paying any more than a single dollar for this.. yall need to do better.

I went in there tonight for something to eat . Firstly I had to order at the kiosk because no employee is attentive to the customers who walk in . Secondly I had to sit there and wait for 5 minutes just to get 2 sauces that I had already ordered & should have received with the rest of my order . So then my nuggets got cold because of this inconvenience. Lastly and the most important thing , as I was sitting down eating my cold nuggets I witnessed a child of an employee (no older then 8 years old) wiping down all the tables in the establishment. Is the child going to get paid? Since when is it okay to let a child do an employees job?

I went through the drive thru. Ordered a dinner box which is supposed to be $10 and was told it was $19, then told it was $10, then at the window told it was $19! Then I ordered 2 Bacon McDoubles with only the bacon and cheese, and they repeated it back to me correctly, JUST TO GIVE ME KETCHUP, MUSTARD, ONIONS AND PICKLES ON MY SANDWICHES‼️ I feel so played and will not be returning except maybe for drinks and I’m praying they can manage to get THAT right!

I Order From McDonald’s Live Oaks Beaufort And Sold Me Raw Pink Meat And Plus I Told Them Nothing On It No Cheese Nothing Plan Still Put Cheese On It & Slap Pieces Of Broken Meat On It .. Pretty sure I could knock someone’s teeth out with this hockey puck of a cheeseburger. I went in with very low expectations, but wow, this meal fell so low beneath the bar I think it actually burned in hell. Thank you Beaufort McDonald’s, I know you are just trying to help me maintain my weight!

Why is it that every time my wife orders through the drive thru, her order is wrong? What she gets is not what appears on the screen. She gets her stuff and goes home to eat. What kind of employees does this business hire? It’s not rocket science on how to fulfill the customers request! I would not recommend this restaurant for your meals. If you do select this place, make sure to check your food before you drive away from the window. Maybe if the workers would focus more on their job and less time worrying about everything else, the customers would be more satisfied. Management needs to stand up and monitor their employees and how they do their jobs. If this happens again, next time the complaint will make it to the corporate level.
