We decided to try a different Mediterranean restaurant and are so glad we did. Both the garlic sauce and hummus were delicious.The tuna platter with side salad was everything I could hope for, beautiful and delicious. The baklava and tea with mint are just perfect together. The service was excellent and personable. The whole experience was wonderful. We will be back soon!!

What an incredible restaurant! The waitress was so kind, warm and inviting with a bright beautiful smile. She took the time to go through the menu with me. The food is absolutely delicious. Quite literally the best chicken I have ever had — full of such lovely flavors. The music and smells of the food were the perfect ambiance creating such an authentic experience. I drove 30 miles to get here and it was well worth it! Will definitely be back!

Amazing Mediterranean food! Everything tasted incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The hummus was smooth, the pita was warm, and the grilled meats were perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff was very friendly. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Have been going to Tamr for a few years and unfortunately won’t be going back. Portion sizes have continued to get less and less. My wife and I used to be able to share the shish tawook “platter” but now 1 is barely enough for one person. The biggest issue is the amount of grilled veggies. We each had 2 onions a 1 pepper on our most recent order. Furthermore, it was nearly $40 for the two platters (we substituted hummus which is a $1 upcharge as a side but it also was unsatisfactory). I believe new ownership took over 2 years ago so it’s possible this is the reason for the decline in quality.

I am so happy to see restaurants like this with authentic food from other parts of the world in Stow, Ohio. I am old enough to remember when Stow essentially only had fast food chains, diners, very Americanized Chinese and cheap Italian. If you live in the area, I encourage you to give TAMR a try. I’ve had a decent amount of schawarma in my life, and this was really tasty. I don’t believe it was off a spit, but the chicken was tender and juicy but with a little grill blackening and spiced really well, and the pickles and sauces (garlic and tahini) were delicious. Bread was good too. Really enjoyable sandwich. Baba ghanoush and hummus were also very good. Also ordered a Yemeni bean dish I had never tried before and loved it! And the people working were courteous, friendly and attentive. One lovely woman gave us some helpful menu advice about how we could save a few bucks on our next order, and the gentleman was particularly careful to attend to people in the proper order (I deferred to a woman who had arrived before us to pick up). This attention to small details and customer service make me want this place to succeed. Give them a try! If you already like Middle-Eastern, you won’t be disappointed, and if you’ve never tried it, I strongly recommend giving it a try. I am a fairly adventurous eater, and this is one of my fav cuisines, and it can be made mild or spicy, whatever you prefer.

Had an excellent lunch at Tamr! Our waitress Kamala was so kind and the food was delicious. I had the chicken schwarma salad which was massive and great and my friend did the lunch special – 13.99 for a sandwich, side, and drink – a great deal. Also loved the tea and baklava. We’ll be back!
