My wife and I ate in Mooresville NC at Corine’s Cafe on Sunday. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful . My wife got a veggie plate , and I got hamburger steak , pinto beans , and green beans . The food wasn’t seasoned tasted plain and bland . We were thinking homemade or home cooking!
Not the case major disappointment. We even opted to forgo the deserts due to the food having little or no flavor . They didn’t really seem busy , but perhaps it was an off day for them ? Anyway I can’t recommend this restaurant due to the fact that the food was average. Also I believe they are due for a remodel as they opened in 2005 and the place looks like nothing has been done since the grand opening. What a shame !

Older cafe with simple breakfast and lunch, staple of the locals who visit for home cooked vs fast food. Has basics to variety of few different twists. Nothing extraordinary just simple and affordable.

There are a lot of one and two stars for a reason. It is pretty awful. I really wanted to like this spot as most local country kitchens are excellent. Other than very inexpensive, it was bad – really bad. I had fried pork chops and mashed potatoes. The pork chops were thin and reminded me of a piece of leather. Zero flavor. No seasoning. The mashed potatoes are instant, and not even good instant. They had the consistency of grits and very watered down. A read a couple review about the gravy, it does taste very strange, not good. Even the ketchup had a very strange flavor. Service was friendly. Lots of locals on a first name basis. Sorry to say, skip this place, you will thank me later.

Was excited to try for the first time. But was disappointed in the quality of food. Was expecting great tasting country cooking. It was not. Not a lot of seasoning. Prices somethings were over priced. Others were ok. Out of 3 meals only the meatloaf was great. The Mac and cheese tasted like water not cheesy at all. Baked apples no seasoning or flavor. They could use an upgrade on decor.

I took my girlfriend here, my omelette was burnt and did not have much ham in it, hash browns severely undercooked. Might as well have eat em good out of the bag. My girlfriend’s food was bland and cold. The atmosphere is nascar themed but it’s outdated like no tomorrow, Service is great but everything else was bad. I would understand if this place was packed but waiting to get your food for an hour while people who come in after you get theirs is un-acceptable.. Go else where folks trust

Went in to this place on a Sunday before church, service was top notch but they weren’t even busy and still waited 45 minutes to get 3 very simple orders. Food was either cold or over cooked. I recall a time this place was actually decent. Outdated on the inside and the rating wasn’t to impressive… Place seems rather dirty on the inside… We all work hard for what we got but that don’t mean we should settle for subpar food… FYI was almost late to church on count of waiting for food that took to long to cook just to be below average. Wouldn’t hurt my feelings to see this place close down.

I heard rave reviews for the past couple of years about this place from older clientele. Decided to try it on Sunday after church. I wish I could give it much better reviews. 1ST only 1 A/C unit was working. 2nd -Another family came in after us and handled before us. We had to ask for a server and it still took 5 mins before they came by. The food was bland and overcooked. Two scrambled eggs were brown and dry. Bacon was almost black and hard. They are still charging additional $.35 /egg on top of the price. Why?? Place has a NASCAR/rodeo theme. Could be cute but looked and felt dirty. Ceiling tiles were showing water marks and mold. Someone came out of the kitchen (maybe the chef) looking dirty with a 1/2 apron and a filthy shirt. This place needs a huge redo. If the NASCAR folks would pitch in to help this family refresh it could be a nicer place.

The service was great the food was great. Good ol greasy spoon. I ate breakfast. The little young blonde waitress was just perfect in every aspect of serving.
