Overall a good spot for breakfast with a creative menu, something for everyone.
They have indoor and outdoor seating. There are Uber eat pick up options for delivery. .Its a breakfast spot, pancakes, French toast, burritos and they also serve burgers. They had a unique pancake that was on the menu.
It is made with a cereal that I grow up eating as a kid
“Fruity pebbles”
The pancakes are big.You don’t have to order a normal stack you could order one at a time and mix the different types they offer. I recommend eating it with a fork and knife.
I got the mushroom and spinach hash and if I could give the owners three pieces of advice it would be:
1) please get metal cutlery in your dining room, plastic cutlery diminishes the experience so so much
2) You need diced potatoes to make a hash. (Or at least to be clear on your menu.) Shredded potatoes make hashbrowns.
3) Put salt and pepper at the tables.
Overall, not bad, just not what I expected and I wasn’t able to rescue it with salt bc there wasn’t any.
Didn’t like being overcharged for the pancakes, ($20) I ordered 2 of the side pancakes which were $3.50 each) it ended up going to waste. So much went into the trash. 🙁 and the guy blew me off instead of working it out…. A few side items cost me almost $70…….. and we came in for a light snack.
The atmosphere at Daps is just as great as the food—welcoming, laid-back, and a place you’ll want to keep coming back to. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot is a must-try. Highly recommend!”
Only a few tables indoors, but there is outdoor seating. They take no reservations. You order in line and then they bring the food. Very popular place, tucked in a cute neighborhood.
