The worst so called Indian food I have eaten, the servings were minute and tasteless. I ordered two curries and naan $11:90 disgusting prices for such a small serve. The lady serving very rude.

Food can be hit and miss! Usually it’s ok but the curries are very sauce driven with not much vege or meat. Today my meal was lukewarm , and the vegetable curry was 80% onion. The naan if fresh is delicious but if it’s been sitting in the display it is usually dry.

I bought food from this shop, including chicken curry, paneer curry, and 4 plain naans. The curries had no taste and smelled bad when I opened them. We were very hungry at the time, and my husband had just come back from work, so he suggested we eat out instead. Unfortunately, this meal made us feel very sick. Everyone experienced vomiting, loose motion, and acidity. My husband is at work and just called me to say he is extremely unwell with stomach issues. We are very upset — this has been the worst food experience we’ve ever had.

Unfortunately the woman serving us was telling us to hurry up and decide what to order because they were closing. No one was waiting behind us. It was 40 minutes before close. Nothing made fresh. Meat sitting on top was quite old and dry. She didn’t fill our large containers, we paid $70. No paneer or variety for vegetarian options. Service is a let down. Will stick to Indian elsewhere.

Have tried this takeaway twice and have been served burnt food each time. First time were lovely Rotis to look at but the bottoms were burnt. Today the girl was so lovely and took the canister to the back to give me butter chicken. When we got home every piece was burnt and the dish was not palatable. I can tell you I will never eat here again and will tell others of our experience. You can’t serve people burnt food and get away with it.

Picking up a large curry and small rice for dinner has become a bit of a ritual. Every curry we have tried has been good but the lamb korma is our favourite, really tasty. Staff always pack lots of meat in the container and they fill the container to the edge. The cost of $24.00 for two people for a meal is a bargain. The nan bread is good on the occasions I have purchased it. Staff are pleasant. Have recommended this place to a couple of friends and they were all happy with the food when buying from here. Keep up the great work with your lovely food. No idea why you have bad reviews because on the 6 occasions I have purchased your food, with more to come. I never had an issue with quality, freshness or taste.

I recently visited this restaurant, and while the food was decent, the service at the front counter left a lot to be desired. The girl at the counter seemed more focused on making dough than assisting customers. She was preparing the dough right in front of the counter, which made it difficult to get her attention or ask questions.
I understand that restaurants get busy and staff multitask, but customer interaction—especially at the front—is really important for a good first impression than making dough.
I hope management can take this into consideration and strike a better balance between prep work and customer service at the front.

Sehaj is a great spot for anyone who enjoys real Indian flavours. The food was tasty and well-prepared — I especially liked the paneer butter masala and tandoori roti. The portions were generous and reasonably priced. It’s the kind of place you’d go to for a relaxed meal with family or friends. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area.
