Have you been here?!? Our server, Kayla, said everything was really good to eat. We decided to get the lamb gyro and prime rib dip. Gf upgraded to garlic fries. Servings were bountiful. Food was toothsome.
I’m not disagreeing with Kayla’s opinion. Both entrees were excellent.

Jared and the rest of the staff are fantastic. Professional service with a friendly smile. The venue’s atmosphere is welcoming, warm, and neighborhood-ly. I come here every couple of weeks and always have the best experience.

My cousin and I stopped in last Sunday evening after I arrived in town for a visit, and we both had an excellent experience. The place was busy but not crazy, and our service was super fast. Haley took care of us immediately, and remained attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our leisurely dinner. I had the black and blue burger, and my cousin had the Reuben; both were exceptionally good! I will definitely visit here again when I’m back in beautiful Boise.

I came to visit Boise and celebrate my friend’s life. All of her friends went to The Refuge for drinks and food. The staff was amazing and even wore Buffalo Bills shirts (she was a huge fan) because she used to watch the games there. The wings were by the far the best I’ve had outside of Buffalo or Rochester, NY (maybe even better) and served with crispy celery. The other food was great. I also had the pesto chicken pasta (yum) later and we all sampled each others food. The beer was fresh and the mixed drinks good (not too strong, not watered down). Great spot if you’re down near the quarry.

Unexpectedly good food and great taste. I walked in expecting mediocre bar food. The sandwiches and chili were very flavorful. The service was prompt and good.
We sat outdoors, was good except sone bees dropping by on and off.

This place has a bar atmosphere. The food was decent. I had the club sandwich and fries, but it wasn’t the classic triple layer just their rendition of the club. The server was great!

Tried this place for the first time and I’m not sure if maybe we didn’t order the right menu items, but it was underwhelming. The homemade salad dressing was good but the rest of our food was under seasoned and didn’t seem very fresh.
