In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. Now, almost 52 years later, while the other guys have turned to packaged and processed foods, we’ve stayed true to our roots by crafting authentic recipes in each of our kitchens. This food was horrible. I spent $17 on a burrito two roll ups and a platter and I barely got content off the food yet alone full. The meat Taste is horrible and the beans taste like Jail food. no wonder a lot of these locations are closing down. I haven’t ate there in over five years and I thought hey why not give them a shot.I will never spend my money here again.

Omg never again! Ordered chicken nachos less than 10 mins ago only to settle and begin to eat my food and there’s literally chips, an overload of beans, a few tomatoes and a dab of sour cream. So much for “mucho chicken” There’s maybe 4 pieces of chicken. They need to close this place like the sonic next door to it. This is so disgusting a dog wouldn’t even eat it. In the trash it goes!

Chicken Quesadilla was so very burnt, that’s all I could taste! Two women working there. No one in the drive-thru or dinning room. One was the cook and both needed to stock some cups, while my meal was in the oven. Cups can wait or maybe the cook should…JUST COOK?! I haven’t eaten at my favorite Taco Bueno in so long. Hard to find any store near me. I was so disappointed and will never go to this specific location again. Stocking supplies takes priority over good food and customer service. Just pitiful management!!!

It’s hard to find a decent taco in the fast food world & what I received was just down right pitiful. My tacos were hard , omg the servings were so skimpy it seemed as if they only used 1 roll of small ground beef for the day and stretched the heck out of it. You have more taco shell than anything.

I just came here after a 10 hour shift at work only to have a girl ring up my order with the worst attitude. She has light pink hair and glasses. Worst customer service. I tried to pay with a $50 bill even though my order totaled out to $30 and it was day time. She grabbed my money and rolled her eyes and asked her manager if it was okay if I pay with a $50 bill. She gave me my change and when I said thank u she rolled her eyes and said nothing to me. As I was sitting down to eat my meal I could hear her telling customers that they shouldn’t eat there because the meat is bad for u. The family of 4 asked for the manager to inquire about why she would say that to them and the manager explained that the pink hair woman was on medication. The family left the store without ordering food.On my way out the store I overheard her tell another customer that was asking her opinon on the food, she told them I don’t know about the food, I don’t eat here. The lady walked right out after me. Avoid this location. The food was good but you could tell the ingredients weren’t as fresh as they used to be. My party burrito tasted tainted. It felt like she sabotaged it with something spicy. My mouth was tingly and my throat felt on fire after 2 bites.

I dont like complaining, but….My wife and I ordered two whole Lotta platters. We got enchilada platters. The rice was burnt. The chili sauce looked like brown water. The whole experience was bad. To top it off we went thru the drive-thru, so we didnt even see it until we got home. You can keep the cash Taco Bueno, I wont be back. I used to work for y’all in the 80’s. What you gave me for an order, we would’ve thrown out when I worked there.
