Surprisingly delicious! Sonic’s iced coffee is smooth, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweet. Perfect for a quick pick-me-up on the go, and way better than I expected from a drive-in spot. Bonus points for always being served icy cold especially on a hot Texas day!

Waited and waited and no one ever even answered to take our order. It’s 2:20 on Tuesday. The were only 3-4 cars in stalls. Service has been bad for months but never this bad. Left and went to another drive through for drinks.

I ordered a combo meal at sonic, it was hard to communicate with the person taking the order. I had to repeat myself & they still got my order wrong. I wanted her to add jalapeños & make it a #2 mustard cheeseburger with everything on it. A large Dr pepper & large chili cheese tots. I tried correcting her, but the intercom turned off & order said it was being made. Overall the medium Dr pepper is fine, my tots are good, my burger us missing everything else. But okay. The car hop was nice.

Avoid stall #19. If I could give a negative rating I would. Never in my life have I had as such a bad experience here. On Saturday evening, I pressed the button and ordered through the microphone. I normally order through the app but this time I was ordering a bag of ice and a drink. I put my card in and out $5.00 tip and nothing was showing up. I tried doing $3.00. Still nothing. Time was going down so I pressed more time and somehow it was saying $25.17. Never in my life have I been more disappointed in a company. I never even pressed the 2 and when the $20.00 had popped up, it would not even let me click on it to erase or change it. Imagine it was more. I will be disputing with my bank because that is unacceptable.

I’ve been to this place a handful of times, and honestly, there always seems to be some kind of issue. It’s mostly younger staff working, and it feels like there’s just a general lack of motivation to do the job well. Drinks are hit or miss—usually not great.

One time I ordered a strawberry cheesecake drink that tasted terrible, and when I politely asked if I could swap it for something else, the employee seemed unsure and awkward about the whole thing. She eventually got the manager, who seemed more concerned about whether I’d drunk the whole thing (I’d only taken one sip). They did end up replacing the drink, so I’ll give them credit for that, but the situation felt unnecessarily uncomfortable.

Another time, my boyfriend was trying to order, and the staff couldn’t hear him. Instead of asking him to repeat or stepping out to clarify, they just… gave up and turned the speaker off. I had to re-ring the order just to get anyone’s attention again.

All in all, service feels pretty unprofessional and frustrating. I keep hoping for a better experience each time, but it’s been consistently disappointing so far.

You obviously need to hire someone with a college education to get orders right. Can’t order on the app or the stall. Unsweet means NO SUGAR. Every damn time and I’m usually in a hurry so I can’t turn around to have it fixed. Seriously ridiculous.

If I could give Sonic Drive-Thru zero stars, I would. I ordered a single item—just one M&M Blast—and somehow that was too much for them to handle. There were maybe six cars there, max, including mine. It wasn’t busy, there was no rush, and yet I still waited ten full minutes for a cup of pure disappointment.

When it finally arrived, it looked like someone just gave up halfway through. It wasn’t even mixed. Just a sad, soggy pile of M&Ms dumped on top of plain vanilla ice cream like they were trying to insult me personally. No blending, no effort—just lazy, sloppy nonsense.

If this is what Sonic calls service and quality, they need to shut the place down. I could’ve done better blindfolded in my own kitchen. Absolute trash from start to finish.
