I don’t have time for a fully worded out review but this place is a not so hidden gem that I just hadn’t been to yet in all my time in Indian River.
Seems like a great spot for both weeknight dinner, happy hour, and most likely sporting events as well. Beautiful patio with space and shade, as well as a massive rectangular main bar indoors, with coastal evening chique decor.
Generously poured and well priced drinks – I’ll be back for them wings too!

In general, the food reminded me similar to what you would get at the whole foods salad bar section. The meat is overcooked in general and a bit chewy. I will not coming back again.

-Curry chicken dish (Chicken was rubbery)
-Wings (Chewy)

My dad and I stopped in for lunch yesterday. I had steak on rice and beans and he had swordfish — I forgot the exact names of the dishes. We enjoyed our meal.
He uses a walker, and so it was not easy for him to climb into the high top tables or the booths as they have a step up, so we sat at a regular table next to the bar, which was a bit more noisy and tight, but definitely acceptable.

A little untraditional in service style but it doesn’t take away from the overall experience at all. This was an awesome place to get food from their very menu which offered so many options and variety or flavors and cuisines while working really well together. I cannot leave this review without mentioning how spectacular the staff was. Watching them hustle and work so well together while having such a good attitude was refreshing. Incredible team there guys!!!

This is one of my favorite places for lunch/dinner. The food is amazingly fresh, the menu is creative and everything they offer is customizable. You can even build what you want from scratch. They prep sauces and make a few things (same day) ready so that that service is fast as well. The staff is knowledgeable and experienced. Once you order at the counter, and watch your meal be prepared, you can choose your booth or table. If you want full-service you can sit at the bar. There is a casual, fun vibe. Quiet enough to talk but lively enough to feel like you are out to eat.

I love it here! Tammy has been nothing but amazing! Best time it right before happy hour ends!Start with a nice glass is wine and for food the Reuben eggroll appetizer it’s a MUST! (2 are missing cause we dived right in)Hubbys go to is the steak down bowl and i’m on a try something new kick. The mac & cheese burrito was delicious and chicken, bacon ranch sandwich (I think that’s the name) is really good. There fries are top notch and seasoned beautifully. Looking forward to my next visit!! Keep up the great work !

I had a pleasant experience at Chive. My favorite part was interacting with the friendly and attentive staff.
I ordered a burger on their Thursday 4-7pm $10 smashburger and fries special. The burger was good enough and the fries were hot and fresh, seasoned with salt and pepper. My bun was soft and the meat was cooked to my desired doneness. I loved that my grilled onions were grilled into the burger. Unfortunately, my lettuce and tomato looked more like a soggy chopped salad, instead of a nice big slice and a few larger leaves of lettuce.
I would definitely return to this establishment to try something else on the menu.
The manager told me they get fresh seafood delivered regularly so maybe that is what I will try next.

Our waitress was fast, informative, and quick with getting drinks. She was pleasant the whole time we were there and exceeded bar service for sure.
This place was great!! The Reuben egg rolls were awesome. They were crispy, tasty, and probably one of the best appetizers we ever had.
Had some local beer as I always enjoy.
The Thai chicken wrap was super tasty and the Mac and cheese was on point. Give this place a try and support the local places.

Came here the other day to try their wings and some appetizers. At the time I went it was rather busy but I sat at the bar. Ambiance was neat and the bathroom was clean as well.
For my appetizer I had ordered the reuben egg rolls and they were something else. I was really impressed that this exists. And for my entree I had 20 chicken wings. Half mild and the other half was sauced in a sauce called awesome sauce.
The wing special is probably the best deal in town but I was not pleased with the time limit, I think the special ends at 7pm and the wings are only .79 cents but celery sticks and other sides are not included and you’d be charged regular price for those items.
I enjoyed my visit and will be coming back to try their other sauces and other options of food.

Last time I was here about a month ago, the service was awful compared to my first few visits. I was lunch break from work and it felt like the cook taking orders couldn’t wait to be done with me as soon as he started taking my order, and was impatient with me ordering for a coworker and needing to refer to a text to pick the next menu item. All in all, the mac n cheese burrito I got was just ok- It had very little flavor and was overall kind of gross.
Towards the end of the line I decided to add on a custard cup, which they took like 10 minutes getting out to me even though it was in a cup and sitting on the food station for like a good 7 minutes.
My coworker enjoyed her lunch which was what mattered. But I don’t think I’ll ever come back here again. Which is a shame, I used to love this place.
