The food at the restaurant is quite spectacular. I would say certain dishes, such as the Barata, the calamari, and the cold antipasto were amazing. The main dishes, lack a certain je ne sais quoi. As you would say in French. The cheesecake for the dessert was absolutely out of this world definitely not made in-house.
The service was rather lackluster. Definitely need some improvement. I was looking for the waiter or waitress whenever I could find one. The restaurant was quite busy. I would say they need to move the restaurant dinner tables away from the bar. It was quite noisy while we were enjoying our dinner. I would convert those tables into high top standing tables because people were just very loud and wanting to watch the game.
The atmosphere for the restaurant is definitely there as you can see there’s a vibrant community around the place. I would not come back to this establishment. I think it is lacking a lot of things I like in a restaurant. I also would say they need to update their tables and chairs. They’re not very sturdy. We were a party of six and the table they had placed us in, was very small.

Amazing restorant and very impressed! We were welcomed from the moment we walked in. The waiter was very polite, and we experienced an exceptional service. Food was also next level. Very good quality and a good amount of quantity on each plate. 10/10 ~ highly recommend it

Looks like an old school nyc Italian restaurant So loved it immediately. We were greeted by multiple people and brought to a table right away. Great service and friendly host. The food was delicious. We had a tri-color salad which seemed like the healthiest choice and it was quite tasty. This was our second dinner so we decided to have a truffle flatbread instead of the large pizza. It was a great choice with plenty of food for the both of us. Watermelon sangrias to celebrate! And it was delicious!

We started with the fried burrata, and it was a revelation. Crispy on the outside, with a warm, creamy interior that just melted in your mouth, perfectly complemented by its accompaniments. It’s a must-try appetizer!
For my main course, we ordered the chicken parm and the money bag pasta and it did not disappoint. The chicken was cooked to perfection – tender and juicy, coated in a flavorful, crispy breading, and smothered in a rich, tangy marinara sauce with just the right amount of melted cheese. It was a classic done exceptionally well. The pasta was flavorful and delicious. We also loved the seasoned vegetables that came with it.
Our waitress was Alexandra and she was so attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. Posto 22 is clearly a gem in New Rochelle, offering authentic and incredibly delicious Italian cuisine in a welcoming setting. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable meal!

We have been in New Rochelle for only a couple of years and we are so happy to call Posto our neighborhood spot. We keep coming back for the amazing cocktails, fresh bread, healthy portions, good vibes, and ambiance. We have our favorite dishes but always love to try the weekly specials, and they never miss! The all-star staff take good care of you and it’s always a perfect night. Shout-out to Brian, Simon, Lester, and the rest of the team 🙂 All of our friends and family know that we only go out to dinner at one place in all of Westchester… it’s Posto or nowhere!

I recently visited this restaurant with my friends, and it was an amazing experience. Though there was a bit of a wait to be seated, the management ensured we were comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish crafted to perfection—the chef truly has a gift! The cocktails were also outstanding, perfectly made. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. To top it all off, the dessert was incredible—I had the crème brûlée, and it was divine. Highly recommend!”

The staff are very polite but too many inexperienced hands involved. The junior waiter cleared our dish twice when we hadn’t finished. Not rude, just inexperienced
We ordered the zucchini strips and fried mozzarella as apps. The zucchini was tasteless and avoidable. The fried burratta was great.
In terms of the main course, the mushroom papardelle is avoidable. We took a few tastes and had to leave it. The penne vodka was fantastic- unclear if the restaurant knows what al dente is though (though to be fair the pasta was not soggy at least)

Absolutely amazing experience! The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented, but what really made our visit special was the service. Anwar was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and service are equally outstanding. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
