Tastee Treat is a 60+ year old drive in restaurant that is a BA staple. The business was a dream come true for owner Steve Thesenvitz. He has been in the restaurant/cafe business all his life. “I was 27-years-old and it was for sale,” Steve recalled. “I went into First National Bank to get a loan.” Many food places barely make it five years. Steve was just 27 and asking for a loan. The bank granted Steve’s request and believed in him. “We have the best burgers around,” he said proudly. “And, the best biscuits and gravy.” Tastee Treat’s owner sees more than great food. “It’s burgers and breakfast, but also relationships,” Steve said. “Knowing your customers is good for them and good for us.”

Excellent place to stop and get some real breakfast that is really tastee! The staff are always very polite, and I love the drive thru. It’s truly amazing how efficient they are even when it’s busy. I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my food, and it’s only fresh and on point. I highly recommend the biscuit supreme. It’s a pile of everything amazing and guarantees a great start to your day.

Today it was especially busy, with diners siting in their cars, lawn chairs or the tables the restaurant has outside, enjoying the beautiful sunny day. For my wife and me, it was a giant double cheese burger, a regular cheese burger, spicy curly fries and onion rings! The burgers were done right; lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, mustard and hold that mayo! A great lunch!

Consistently good product at a reasonable price. Only FOUR stars since they serve pork patties with little (or no?) seasoning and call it sausage. GET A NEW SAUSAGE SUPPLIER who characteristically SEASON the pork. PLEASE! (Try the sausage at ANY other breakfast venues and compare it to your tasteless offering.)

Your guys‘s food is phenomenal. Been having it since I was a kid. However, recently it has been where the soda taste kind of weird. I don’t know if it’s an old machine or what, but it has an off aftertaste and all the soda I’ve had for the past Three months. Might need to clean machine or upgrade.

The pricing for this being a “old school” diner or burger place is absolutely crazy. $5 for a regular burger is absolutely diabolical, and almost $4 for a blueberry muffin. I live down the road and was astonished by these prices. Won’t be going back.

Y’all lied to me. This place and the food was trash. The food was cheap, it tasted like microwaveable food, and since it came out in 15 mins for $70 with of food, I suppose it was. The building is so old, and so is the drive thru system. They didn’t even have a computer register for the drive thru. And the old lady at the drive thru has terrible customer service skills, you think someone would have taught her how to be nicer.

I tried to find something wrong. I did. It was the wait. Not too bad considering they had call in orders. Drive through orders and tables. The breakfast there is amazing. Definitely get the supreme biscuits and gravy. Share it though. It’s huge.
