Found this on a Google search. They do a lot of takeout. First you get in line and quickly move to the serving area where they fix your plate. You pick the items from a list on the board. Now, the servings are large and the food is amazing. There are places to sit if you want to dine in. We visited on a Sunday and the place was active with people coming and going.
You can have turkey legs, fish, chicken and much more. Or if you want a veggie plate, no worries. Everything we had was great!

Grandma’s kitchen is my go to place if Im craving some soul food. The people here are so nice and always remember regulars. They have the best service and grandma in the back is always cooking up the best food in town. I go here all the time for lunch and I have never been disappointed. The price is cheap and the food is phenomenal. This is one of my favorite restaurants and I will never stop going. Thanks to everybody there, you make my days at work much easier after a lovely meal. THE BEST comfort food I’ve had on my 4 week roadtrip from New Jersey to Texas thus far. Keep in mind, this is not fine dining. The price is unbeatable… I almost felt bad for paying so little for a plate piled high with deliciousnesssss. Long line out the door, but worth the wait!

The location could throw many off, the lady was friendly coming into the door. The guy at the register was nice and sweet. The food was pretty good. The fish was seasoned and cooked to golden perfection. The macaroni and cheese was great. No complaints on the rice and dark gravy. Pretty good all the way around.

The food was delicious. A Southern home cook meal was great consisting of smothered chicken dark and white meat, rice and gravy, green beans, mac & cheese and a choice of roll or cornbread. We were given lemonade or tea to drink. Although, we were attending a private party, the atmosphere was soothing and enjoyable. The customer service was excellent.
