We had a great lunch, burgers, fries and onion rings. We went back later for sundaes. What a cool drive in. They have indoor and outdoor seating or you can eat in your car and a car hop will take your order.

For being the talk of the town and crazy busy this place was super-average. Very nice waitstaff and quick service. The facilities seemed clean & nice. I was really hoping the food would stellar for a car-hop diner. Burger honestly tasted like fake meat being in the land of cattle. Fries were okay, shake was okay. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing? I’m sure we will give it another try someday.

I grew up eating here back in the early 80s. Came back to Afton for a family reunion and had to stop in. The decor has changed but the service and food hasn’t changed much. They still offer slush puppies!. I had the Double bacon cheese burger, and the Baron Blast drink off the specialty drink menu. We shared a fries, tots, and onion rings. All were perfect, and just what I expected. They also serve fry sauce (aka pink sauce)..and the menu has lots of options.
The waitress at the counter was super friendly, patient, and smiles for days. If she had a name tag, I would give her due credit.
The only complaint I have..isn’t so much the restaurants fault. But the dinning room was PACKED! And it seemed that is was mostly family’s with small children, which is fine, bit the teenagers that were being loud and left their table a huge mess was a bit unnerving. Again.not the fault of Red Baron…more so the delinquent “kids” must have never been taught manners.
All in all…I’ll be back anytime I’m in the area. A classic favorite serving classic treats. Warmed my soul, and filled my belly!

Red Baron has amazing food! Wish it was open all season long! It is always busy and you may have to wait but it’s worth it. The best is the Pastrami burger with onion rings or fries with their specialty drinks. Sweet treats are also very tasty here. Service is very attentive. Stop in at the Red Baron this summer!

My children and I love to treat ourselves to the Red Baron. Everyone can find just the right meal to make everyone happy. The car hop experience is diminishing in a lot of places and it is sinful to have that special little experience here. Always such friendly service and we look forward to next season!

Solid food! We got 2 kids meals and 2 adult meals for $30, which nowadays is a great deal! Everything was hot and fresh and the service was good. There are tables to eat inside, outside, or you can do the classic ‘drive-up’ style and eat in your car. There’s even a large grassy area in back for kids or dogs to run around. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews but i’m glad we ignored them and gave it a try! Highly recommend!

My family and I stayed the weekend in Afton, camping. A few of the locals recommended we stop here to try it out. All of the 4 days we were here, this place was crazy busy. I think that means it’s pretty good. We decided to give it a shot. It’s delicious. Hamburgers are fantastic, fries and tator-tots are good as well as the milkshakes. You can even get malt shakes here. Do yourself a favor and stop by.

Fast, fresh, and delicious drive-in. Everything we tried from the pastrami burger to the onion rings to a Nutella shake was spectacular. We will definitely be making this a stop whenever we are driving through Star Valley.

Great place all around! We dropped in for a quick snack. Grabbed 2 corn dogs & a fry. Oh my goodness… BEST FRIES EVER! They also bring you a 2oz container of 1/2 ketchup & 1/2 mustard! I’ve never had a place do that!! Will definitely be back!

Over priced for frozen nasty food never will eat their agin pizza burger was a staple their and now they changed it and not in a good way blu burger looked and tasted as if it was sitting all day onion rings ok but no salt cheese fries had so little on them it would not count as cheese fry got some good fry sauce and som that was nasty need to date their stuff milk shakes were more like flavored chilled milk not shake like use some malt or get that ice cream frozen man crisp chicken sandwich was so lightly fried it was slightly raw needed a supplement minus longer chocolate fudge shake didn’t even have a chocolate taste add some fudge please I payed .75 cents moor I expect it
