I have heard good things about this restaurant so I decided to try for the first time today but I will not be returning. I ordered lunch for a coworker and I and received this 12$ side salad size bowl. Ridiculous. No chicken, no fries, no bread..etc. very disappointed is an understatement.

I travel all around the Carolina’s due to work so trying out new restaurants is practically a hobby at this point. I tried atomic city for the first time and have to say.. hands down the best bacon cheeseburger. The patty itself was fresh aswell as the add-ons. Dalton was very welcoming and Chaz is fire on the grill. All in all if I could give a six star I would.

Ate here this evening (Sat) for the first time. We were the only ones in the dining area. The air inside was thick and heavy with the smell of grease. I don’t think their venting over the cook top and fryer were turned on or maybe broken. All our food was served cold. The Philly Cheesesteak, onion rings, fries and the Grown Up Grilled Cheese. All cold. I mean not even warm. Our food must have sat in the kitchen for who knows how long before it was served, but to not even be warm it must have been a good while. We went because others said the food was good. Maybe it was just a really off night, but I think it will be a good long time before we consider trying a second time.

Had the shrimp basket with fries. It was great! Perfectly cooked, not greasy, and the fries were real homemade not shoestring out of a package.
Server was attentive and very pleasant.
Nice to still have some home town eateries to go to besides the box chains!

My friend goes here to play pool. I heard they did karaoke and so I had to go. I had a great time. I even tried the bartender’s special. Don’t usually have a drink but considering I haven’t been out in over 2 years I was going to see what she had and boy was it good. I enjoyed getting to sing again and I hope to go back.
