There aren’t enough great things I can say about Maverick biscuit! I love everything about it! The food and service are top tier. My family and I love meeting here after church on Sunday.
My fave is the frenchie followed close by the shrimp & grits! Honestly, I have not had anything that wasn’t great!
Today, Toni brought us the lemon blueberry cobbler topped with ice cream to finish our meal. 10/10 recommend!
I had the Bulls bay and a side of bacon. THIS backings the best I’ve had, its thick cut and baked to perfection!

We had such a great experience at Maverick’s biscuit brunch! The food was excellent—everything came out fresh and full of flavor. The biscuits were perfectly fluffy and well-buttered, the grits had just the right creamy texture, and the chicken and bacon were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was calm, peaceful, and inviting, making it an easy place to relax and enjoy a meal.
A special shout-out to our waitress, Rory. She was fantastic—always quick, attentive, and consistently checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. She really made the whole experience even better with her great service.
Overall, an amazing brunch spot with excellent food, a calming vibe, and top-notch service. Highly recommend!

Maverick Biscuit in Cherrydale did not come to play. Their biscuits are massive, fluffy, and honestly deserve their own zip code. The grits? Packed with flavor and so good I considered writing them a thank-you note. Everything came out hot and fresh, which is exactly how brunch should be. And let’s talk about the bottomless mimosas—only $17! That’s basically a Greenville miracle. Our waitress, Rory, was the cherry on top—welcoming, kind, and super attentive without ever hovering. If you’re not brunching here yet, you’re doing brunch wrong.

We had breakfast here for our anniversary and it was perfect! The food was amazing! The French toast sticks were the best I’ve ever had! I have the Maverick biscuit with chicken and it was so good! The biscuits were homemade, fresh, BIG, and delicious! The philly omelette tasted so good and the home fries were seasoned perfectly! Our waiter Josh was so nice, the manager (I forgot her name) was so pleasant, and the chef/owner Sergio stopped by out table! Such a nice guy and sweet team! I would definitely be back at this location!!!

So we came in and it seemed pretty empty but had a 10min wait. They were down 2 waiters and I was a little wary at first.
But I am SO GLAD we stayed!! Service was excellent even with them being short staffed. Our waitress was very nice and stayed on top of everything. Good coffee and they have water at the table for you to refill as you need which is actually really nice. IT is a super clean place and good spacing so you aren’t sitting on top of each other.
Food came out pretty quickly they have a pretty good menu. It isn’t the same old same old. They did have a few traditional dishes and you can absolutely order just eggs, sausage, bacon or pancakes/waffles. So don’t worry if you have a picky eater or kids who don’t care for the more adventurous dishes.
I got the orange chicken and it was very good the feta really adds a new taste to this! The bisquit is huge and fluffy! The egg was cooked perfectly and they ask exactly how you want your egg so they get it right.
I also got a side of cinnamon sticks!! I cannot recommend these more crisp outside, soft inside and wonderfully cinnamon taste! They locally source maple syrup as well as their sausage which is awesome to see fromna restaurant!
Me husband got the chicken and waffles. We usually share but seeing as he woof’d it down so quickly I can’t say how it taste but it must have been good! My parents got the meat bowl and it is a LARGE portion! They both took enough home to have for lunch.

This was reheated Sysco slop at best. My girlfriend is gluten-free, and while they claimed to have gluten-free biscuits, I can assure you that the Play-Doh that she was served was not edible. Additionally, the manager spent a large part of our dining experience yelling at her employee Jennifer and her other employee, Justin. Our server was inattentive and forgot to refill our water, so we were left incredibly thirsty, as the biscuits were dry and cakey. The fried chicken was soggy instead of crispy, and the hashbrowns were very clearly reheated. Would not recommend, incredibly disappointing experience.
