I went here for a reserved party. The view of the water is great but it was a little distracting with tables of separate groups being served during our reserved time. The party area is narrow and hard to walk through for a large group. The food was good. The pub chips tasted great. The Bloody Mary was spicy but expected a bit more for the price.

We come here almost everytime we’re on the Chain. Excellent food, very reasonable prices. Southwest Avocado BLT is delicious. Mango Shrimp salad special is wonderful also. Meatloaf Stack is huge! Beautiful view from the deck overlooking Fox Lake.

Evening at Fairmount Shores – Sweet Treats & Sunset Vibes
We had a great time at Fairmount Shores, with a beautiful sunset setting the perfect backdrop and live music by Stu adding to the relaxing atmosphere. This spot is well known for its excellent ribs and walleye fish fry, but this time we stopped by just for dessert and after-dinner cocktails—and it did not disappoint.
The drinks were well-crafted, the desserts hit the spot, and the vibe was exactly what you want on a laid-back evening by the water. Definitely a place we’ll keep coming back to!

I want to share what an amazing job Patti Walsh, the owner of Fairmont Shores, did this past weekend. I held a memorial service for my Dad at a local church, and Patti handled the catering, setup, and breakdown flawlessly. She took everything under her control so neither I nor my family had to worry about a thing.
The food was exceptional—Italian beef with all the fixings, salad, and mostaccioli—everything was perfect. After the service, we gathered at Fairmont Shores for drinks and time together on the beautiful deck. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the drinks were great, and Steve, our server, was outstanding. Patti personally made sure every request was met and treated us like part of her family.
I’ve been to Fairmont Shores many times and have never had a bad experience, but this time truly stood out. The atmosphere, food, and service go well beyond a 5-star rating. Thank you to Patti and the entire Fairmont Shores team for making such an important day absolutely perfect.

They remodeled and did a nice job. It’s very loud though. If you’re looking for a quiet spot this isn’t it. We sat at the bar which worked well for us except the bar tender wasn’t attentive. At least ask once if we have everything we need after food arrives. I got up and got my own napkins. The burger and fried shrimp were decent. I’d go back and try it again.

Fairmont Shores Bar and Grill that sits on Fox Lake is a must try. Stopped in for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised. Seems to have plenty of tables and also outdoor seating. I had the seafood jambalaya (excellent) and my wife had the meatloaf stack, she loved it and had to bring more than half home. I’ll recommend this place to family and friends! Only reason for 4 stars is I need to try it again before giving it 5 stars.

This place is a gem. I can’t believe i’ve never heard of this place. Very good food. Pricey but good portions ($75 for what you see in the photos. Ordered 2 ML only 1 Daiquiri) . The brushetta (8 pieces) is AMAZING. Our Waitress was very attentive and had great suggestions for drinks and dipping sauce for my sweet potato fries.
