The Grille at the Chateau, located on the Championship Golf Course in Incline Village, Nevada (North Lake Tahoe) – is open to the public and offers a beautiful view of the 18th green, mountains, trees and Lake Tahoe from the dining room and our outdoor seating area. The Grille serves quality, fresh, wholesome ingredients with thoughtful service during the golf season (May through October). New for 2025, The Grille will serve dinner on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 5pm – 8pm, during the golf season. The main menu is available during dinner in addition to the dinner menu.

This started out as a 3-4 star rating and dropped to current when my husband was a few bites into his deep fried chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. His first bite he stated that it was one of the best he’s ever had, and then after 2 more bites was unpleasantly surprised with raw chicken. I had the blackened chicken wrap with sweet potato fries which was good and cooked thoroughly. The staff was friendly and appropriately horrified at the raw chicken. They did take care of us. Unfortunately, my husband has spent a few hours with food poisoning due to it.

Wow, the Baja Fish Tacos was so perfectly crispy good. The tater tots was so good too. The baby back ribs is soft and sweet to chew on. The French Fries were good top. Thank you so much.

Beautiful place with great views of the golf course and distant views of the lake. Food was equally good. Somehow this place didn’t have any tax counted into the bill. We ordered a cheeseburger and a hotdog each coming with a free side of a cup of soup or fries or salad. Great service too. There was no rush and we were seated in no time even though it was Memorial day. There were options for both indoor and outdoor dining. This was easily the most beautiful affordable place I’ve been to.

We enjoyed a beautiful end of the day dinner and gorgeous view on the patio! A peek a boo lake view is a bonus as you overlook the perfectly manicured golf course. The loaded tots are amazing if you like tots. The hazelnut crusted salmon was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Looking forward to returning.

Sundy Brunch french toast was served cold, had to be remaid. The chicken biscuit breakfast sandwich was not fresh. Frozen chicken and microwaved hard biscuit. Cooks clearly don’t care about what they are putting out. $47.00 plus tip. First and last time for us.

Update! 2021 (2 stars)
This place unfortunately has gone downhill. It was a favorite of ours every year but the most recent visit was so disappointing. We called ahead to make sure they would be open for food and the hostess told us we would be fine if we arrived in the next 20 minutes. We arrived 10 minutes later and waited at the host stand for 5 minutes when the hostess finally came she said that she had to check if they were still serving food because they stop in 5 minutes. We told her we just called and she said ya I remember and she went to the back to talk to the kitchen and then she told us sorry the kitchen said they are closed. She basically lied to us on the phone and mislead us. They obviously have some staff and communication issues. We would have not come at all if we were told the truth on the phone that they would close earlier than scheduled. They also informed us that they no longer had nachos (our favorite) and they no longer had happy hour. This was a huge disappointment we ended up leaving because we wanted food. It is clear that management has some issues with the staff and has made some bad changes. Very disappointed. We won’t be visiting anymore.

Great views, great happy hour prices and free popcorn!
Last year we came and ordered the nachos and it was huge and so good! This year we came and ordered it again expecting the same, but were very disappointed and sadly would never order it again. For the same price ($13.25) it was 1/3 of the size this time served on a small skillet and very unappetizing. Last year we got what we paid for, but this year we feel ripped off. At least lower the price to something reasonable for the major reduction in quantity and quality.
Wine is also served in spotty/dirty looking glasses. A quick polish before they pour the wine would leave a great first impression.
Overall the views and happy hour drink prices are great, but have a couple things they could improve on.

Amazing food, everything was cooked perfectly from the fluffy fish, to perfectly crisped sweet potatoes. The restaurant prices was very reasonable for being on a golf course, and the view of the course with the mountain was perfect. If you looking for a laid back dinner this place should be on your list

It is a great place to have lunch with a nice view of the golf course. The food was quite good I only had a small complaint that the burger I ordered was a little overcooked but it was quite filling and still tasted good. I’m sure if I complain they would’ve swapped it out right away. But when I ordered I didn’t specify how to cook my burger. But if you’re in the area and you’re hungry I think it’s a great place for lunch and I’m really glad I stopped in.

The ceasar salad with Ahi was some of the freshest I’ve ever had. Not sure why the reviews aren’t that high cause the patio seating has a breathtaking view and the food was great!
