I saw a big sign of “HALAL THAI FOOD” when I was on a bus, and it is very near Hotel Boss. So I take the same bus on the opposite bus station of the hotel (blk 461 station) and used bus no.2,12,33 or 133, and you stop 1 stop after you get in (it was jl pisang or something). Just 1 stop and you will see the Halal sign. The fact that it is Halal making me super happy. But most importantly THE TASTE. IT IS SOOO GOOODDD!! I have craving some spices while I’m here & I found it here. For my fellow Indonesian friends, you gotta eat here! And make sure you try their TOMYUM. IT IS TO DIE FOR!!! And the fry glass noodle alsooo the BOMB!! I’m gonna bring my mom next time we come here!

We got the family set for 4 pax, tomyum soup is flavorful, love the sea bass as well, overall food is nice and would come here again. Had to reserve a table beforehand to get a table without waiting, had our dinner around 7 and waited around 30min for the food to arrive. Service is nice, restaurants is clean just a bit noisy as a lot of family and gatherings happen there.

Tucked away along Jalan Kledek, Konangkam Thai Restaurant is a hidden gem that delivers an authentic taste of Thailand right in the heart of Singapore. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by the warm, friendly staff and the restaurant’s simple yet cosy and homely decor that made us feel instantly comfortable.

The star of our meal—and truly the highlight of the entire experience—was the Trio Flavoured Seabass. Perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour, this dish alone is worth the visit. The balance of sweet, sour, and spicy in the trio sauce was absolutely spot on, and every bite left us salivating and craving more. It genuinely transported us straight to Thailand with its authenticity.

We also tried their Thai Tom Yum Soup, which had a rich, tangy depth and a beautifully balanced spice level that warmed the soul. The stir-fried kangkong was fresh and garlicky, a great complement to the seafood-heavy meal. Their Thai milk teas were delicious too—especially the original red milk tea and the Thai bandung, which had a fragrant rosy sweetness without being overpowering.

Although we had originally made a reservation for the evening, we dropped in during the afternoon and were graciously accommodated with no issues. That said, I highly recommend making a reservation if you’re planning to go for dinner, as it gets quite busy in the evenings.

Service was fast, the food came out piping hot, and the whole experience left us feeling satisfied and impressed. Konangkam is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine in a laid-back, welcoming environment.

Decent dining experience. QR code on the table didn’t work so we had to go to the counter to order.

Decent food. I got the green curry with rice while my friends got red tom yum. However, the ice tea was really too sweet. It was just a cup of syrup loaded with ice. I couldn’t even take a sip.

Came here 4 years ago and I thought it was pretty good though. :/

Great spot for group gatherings. Had a company lunch here and the dishes were all pretty tasteful. The tomyum and steamed fish is a must get. Got the family meal for $30 per pax and I would say that it’s worth it! Will come again to try new dishes next time.

We came here for lunch with three people and honestly left pretty disappointed. I had actually visited about two years ago and had a bad experience, but decided to give them another chance — unfortunately, it turned out to be the same story.

The dishes came out one by one with quite a long wait between each, and the pacing felt slow even though the restaurant wasn’t crowded. Can’t imagine how long it would take if the place was full.

The fish had an oddly sweet taste that didn’t feel right for the dish. The tom yum soup and omelette were both overly salty, making them hard to enjoy. Even the rice had a strong smell, which suggested it might be low-quality. The only dish we liked was the kangkong belacan, which was actually quite tasty and well done.

On top of that, the restaurant itself looks tired and could really use a fresh coat of paint. Considering the steep prices, the overall experience just wasn’t worth it. Definitely the last visit.

My family and I were looking forward to having an authentic Thai dining experience, but unfortunately, the dishes turned out to be overly sweet and lacking in the expected spice flavors. Moreover, we experienced slightly slower service due to our seating on the second floor. On top of that, the utensils were not properly prepared and had noticeable stains, indicating a need for replacement.
