I ordered an Oreo Blizzard. Let me say that again slowly in case it helps: OREO.
Somehow I was handed a Peanut Butter Cup Blizzard instead. I’m honestly impressed. That’s not a small mix-up — that’s a completely different planet of flavor. That’s like ordering a Coke and being handed a bowl of soup.
Do we just spin a wheel back there? Is there a blindfold involved? I’m trying to understand the science behind how “Oreo” translates to “peanut butter.” They don’t sound alike. They don’t look alike. They don’t even live in the same dessert neighborhood.
The best part? It was confidently handed to me upside down like it was 100% correct. The confidence was strong. The listening skills? Not so much.
I didn’t know ordering at Dairy Queen meant taking part in a guessing game. I’d love to meet the genius who thought, “Close enough.”
Next time I’ll bring flashcards.

Girl in front taking orders had the worst attitude. Even worse when they handed me the bag of food without the blizzards, we waited OVER 15 minutes until I walked over and she says “uh did you need something?” All the food was cold, I asked them to be remade and she rolls her eyes and said “I’m not asking to do that” and then all staff went and hid in the back.

Staff was amazing! Everyone contributed and was always working! It was super busy when I went, and I was impressed!
They had my food out in less than 5 minutes. I loved the anime music it brought me back to my roots. And the blizzard was well blended. I’ve been to other dairy queens but this one take the cake for the best!
