This place Popeyes did a great job for its circumstances. I was there during a crazy busy day as the whole mall was a buzz with holiday shoppers and hungry customers.
The food was very good. I got a box of 4 pieces of dark meat original fried chicken, and even though they gave me three pieces of dark meat and one piece of white meat, I was still happy with the quality of the chicken. I suppose with how busy they are and the amount of turn around they go through, they are cooking a lot and lot and lot of fried chicken and it doesn’t really get a chance to just sit there before it gets ordered wrapped up and shipped off to happy hungry customers.

I’m not even sure this is a legitimate Popeyes franchise location. They don’t take any Popeyes app rewards or coupons, and their meals don’t include a drink. Name a single fast food place where a “meal” doesn’t include a drink.
On my visit today I used the machine to order spicy tenders. I received normal tenders. My boss ordered a 3 piece chicken meal but only received 2 pieces.
And the prices are jacked up here.
There’s another Popeyes in Elizabeth. Don’t go to this one inside Jersey Gardens.

First, I’ve never been to a Popeyes that does not have a chicken sandwich. Second, these are the worst looking chicken tenders I have ever seen. They look pale and are super dry. Definitely not worth the money.

We had the 8 piece family meal. We took the spicy chicken. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

Extremely disappointed with my experience. The chicken was dry, the service was poor, and the staff were unfriendly. Additionally, the person in charge was disrespectful, which made the visit even more unpleasant.

Worst Experience Ever at Popeyes!
I visited this Popeyes today and ordered 16 pieces of chicken, requesting that 3 pieces be non-spicy. The cashier was extremely rude, telling me in a harsh tone that it wasn’t possible and insisting that it had to be “half and half.” When I refused, she checked with the manager, who approved my request, but her attitude remained unprofessional and disrespectful.
Then, I told her that I didn’t want wings because we don’t eat them, and she rudely replied, “What do you mean? It’s chicken!” I asked why they were making it seem like it was my first time ordering, and she suddenly raised her voice, sighed loudly, and stormed off to the manager.
When she returned, she told me in the same disrespectful tone that my request wasn’t possible. At that point, I asked for a refund, and she rudely told me to return the food, even though I hadn’t received anything yet! Then, she threw the receipt on the counter and told another employee to process my refund.
This was the worst Popeyes I have ever been to, and I had my hungry kids with me, which made it even worse. Terrible customer service—never coming back! I highly do not recommend this place to anyone!

Lateef! is very rude and lacks customer service skills . The lady with the Hijab on , is a bit off as well . Very lucky I had a taste for Popeyes but baby the employees??? Very distasteful, if you don’t like your job that requires you to deal with people LEAVE !!

I was here today for second time and I have the same problem in this location, is sad one Bussiness like this with good food is attend for people with no education and respect, one lady the first time I came here they give my order to the wrong person and the. They talk to my grandmother very bad, and today they let us wait in the line and at the end they said they don’t have chicken because they are close and they suppose to close at 9:00pm and was 8:40pm and they don’t want to attend me and she use very bad language in front of my kids and one specific girl was laughing and doing inappropriate moves in front of my family, that’s is really sad Popeyes chicken always is my first choice and today was maybe my last day in this location

The waitress was very rude. I ordered from her and I told her clearly that I wanted a set meal for the first time. When I got the receipt, I found that my meal was a la carte. I said I wanted a set meal. The cashier said that I meant a la carte. She argued with me and was very rude. I asked if I could change to a set meal now? She was very rude and even walked away. I think the manager of the store can check the camera. I am sure I ordered a set meal. I think if she doesn’t want to work here, she can change jobs. But the service staff should not bring their bad mood to the guests!
